The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

1st of many shots. The ground equip is outstanding! What a touch it adds to freighter ops! The plane...indescribable (You have to fly it to appreciate it). The package..completely complete! The purchase, download and install...FLAWLESS FPS and VAS...right there with the 777, maybe a bit better but I'm not breaking out any counters...the plane is smooth. Purchase decision if you're on the fence...Get off the fence and get it! OK...back to flying...need to get this cargo in the air! Yes that is a tail stand being wheeled in, plus a honey bucket truck (almost in the pic...but on the way), staff van, potable water truck, more loaders you can shake a stick at.…

Did a flight from EGCC to LEAM in the 747-400D and was pleased to note that I could actually remember how the FMC works on a 747 and had no problems getting my flight plan into the thing, although I did spend a few seconds trying to remember where the hell the autobrake switch was, because I'm so used to seeing it on the main panel on a 737 lol

The good old 'Shed' coming into Liverpool on a foggy afternoon with a 20 knot crosswind and trying to avoid a bird strike. Dunno if it is intentional on the part of the developers of this FS version's flight model, but it seems to be strongly affected by a crosswind, which with those big slab sides, is likely to be the case on the real thing. I know the real thing can lean over at quite an angle when on the ground with a crosswind hitting it...

Had a go with the PMDG paint kit for their shiny new Queen of the Skies 2 Boeing 747 do-over... For those of you doing repaints who want a quick way to dirty things up a bit, here's a good tip with the paint kit: Select the panel guidelines layer in PS, stick some Gaussian Blur on it and then drop the layer opacity to about 25 percent. Make sure you keep that layer visible when you flatten things out and make the DDS. I did that on this paint job, just to give the panel and rivet lines a bit more definition and make it look ever so slightly dirty, as I tend to find that unless it's a brand new paint/decal job on an airliner, they usually look a bit like that after som…
