The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

The new Ultimate Realism Pack combined with the Eddie Sky Pack is amazing! I was always into Reshade/SweetFX (even ENB in my FSX days), and this is one of the best. It might be a bit too blue, but those sunrises/sunsets... amazing. So I took my trusty Laminar C172 for a spin from my KHAF Half Moon Bay to KTRK Truckee Tahoe. A predawn flight over San Franciso Bay, and then heading out to the mountains for a fun day ahead! Getting ready for the red-eye departure in my hangar, it's 4:30 in the morning Taxiing to the runway. Have to climb out quickly, lest I wake up the neighbors... The sun comes up over the northern part of the Bay WOW …

Doing a sunrise flight from JFK to Frankfurt. Just turning on MERIT to HFD, thought the view was just stunning. The "WOW" is a reference both to the views and the "Member of WOW" logo. Painted this one by request from guenseli....turning out to be my favorite plane to fly. Enjoy the shots.

Please see the Rules at the top of this Forum which shows how to show a Prefix in your Title. The instruction for placing a Prefix has been changed so please review the new instruction. We have received recommendations from the community asking that our members be required to indicate the simulator used for the images in the topic title. This sounds like an excellent recommendation. Effective immediately, please indicate the simulator used (XP-11, P3DvX, FSX, FSX-SE, or DTG FSW) in your topic title or properly tagged with the name of the simulator. Topics without the name of the simulator in the title and/or tagged with the name of the simulator may be removed by…

Love the Twinstar, a great modern day, efficient diesel twin. Love aircraft that run on jet fuel. You'll recognize the craggy peak in Great Basin national park. Highest I've ever driven, drove my car to 11,500 feet below the peak then hiked up over 12,000 feet. Did not get winded, I gradually climbed in Altitude in the three weeks prior.

This was an online flight (Pilot Edge) VNY to L35. I didn't have time for screens at the start of the flight so I canceled IFR as I got closer and was able to do some shots. Orbx SCA, Baytower RV7 + RXP GNS530W, Turbulent Designs L35. Shameless plug - it also features a mod Bert and I have been working on which makes the new RXP GNS530W v2 work in the VC of the Baytower RV7. I'll probably have a drop link over at the rxp subforums once it's done. While I had missed the old GNS530 I'm really glad we have the GTN - I prefer it over the ole 530 hehe!
