Aloha from Hawaiian Airlines Virtual! We are always striving to accurately replicate the real- world operations of Hawaiian Airlines. We are accepting new pilots, rather pro or inexperienced, and staff members, preferrably with former virtual airline staff experience. We are proud to be an official VATSIM partner airline. To further enhance your experience here, we have many great features. First, in the pilot center, (must be logged in to access) we have a schedule finder with the real-world Hawaiian Airlines schedule, which even includes the Island Air codeshare flights. There, you can bid on flights and fly them. To make flying more enjoyable, we have a cust…

Hi folks,Here's a question for VA admins here who deal with FSACARS:Our VA (http://www.blue1va.net) uses FSACARS to log all our flights. We have a 'normal' PIREP reporting system as well as a live google map and flights in progress board. Some users with Windows7 seem to have lots of problems getting the program to work properly, especially with the live position update function. I get reports of FSACARS freezing or just crashing. Now, in some cases the problems can be solved by switching off the position update features, but this is not ideal. Also, some people still experience issues with sending the log.As far as I have read, the procedure for setting up and running FSA…

Hi, I haven't actually interacted using the forums much, but I'd say I have relatively good experience with FS. Anyway, I have the basic concept, ideas and other elements for a virtual airline of my own, but I need at least one other person (or possibly more) to collaborate with and help me get the airline started. I'm not necessarily looking for experience, although it would help. However, I'm looking more for fresh minds, so experience doesn't matter a lot. I already have the major details sorted out, and I just need some other people to help me get it started. If you're interested, please send me a PM and I'll discuss it with you. Thanks!

Hi GuysWhat im after is to join a good VA which does regional flights i would prefer europe, only because most of my scenery is european and also that there are props available to fly, everyone loves filling thier hangers up with jets but i would love to get back into saab 340,beech 1900d and upto my favourite ATR 72-500.Its a big ask and believe me i have looked around but i feel the people with knowledge are here and may be able to help me out.So basically a small active VA flying props/turbo props with short regional flights is what i'm after. Thanks in advance for any helpCheersPaul

A quick introduction, so you know who you're talking to. I'm Titan, I've been using Microsoft Flight Sim since... FS98 I think. It's been a while anyway. While I like RP, and would love to start and run a VA of my own, I really don't have the time to do so atm. Instead, I'm creating a VA, for...uhr... personal use I guess so I'm not dissapointing anyone. This way I can (along with a couple of others) fly my own colours, as a VA and if in the future I find I have time, I will make it public. Anyway, I want to make it realistic, else there seems little point in doing it at all. The airline operates in the north of Scotland with Inverness as it's base, running loc…

Hey all, I'm looking for a VA; Preferably in the Caribbean but I would certainly consider any region. I'm not looking for another heavy metal pushing VA. I'm looking for a realistic fleet consisting of smaller turboprop aircraft, for example the Twin otter, Britten Norman Islander, Cessna caravan etc. But certainly not limited to those aircraft. I'm not looking for one of those VA's with everything from a c172 to a b747 because it is not realistic at all. I am already aware of Oasis and Flycay so please don't suggest them. Thanks!

SimAviators has relaunched itself after reorganization. In doing so it has also established a solid foundation with FSEconomy to build its Virtual Airline. We are now looking to bring on board other members/pilots who would like to fly with a VA.The level of commitment required is set by yourself, there is no pressure you fly what you can when you can. For those who want a challenge with more responsibilities we are also looking for members/pilots who would like to manage a regional HUB with all the responsibilities that brings. Why not come and say hello on the SimAviators forums and talk a little more about SimAviators Virtual Airlines and how to become a member.SimAviat…

Hi everyone, I'm interested in starting a Winair VA. I know there have been a few of them started in the past (none active now to my knowledge). I'll be honest - I know very little about running a VA and almost nothing about website design/programming/virtual acars. But I am knowledgeable on flying and aviation (real world cpl). And am certainly willing to put effort and time into this.Anyone else interested?

Hello All! I've been lurking this site for quite a long time and I've found it quite interesting so I decided I better make an account here. I am a keen flight simmer with 2,500 flying hours in FSX since I got it in 2006, most of these flown in CRJ's or King Airs. I own ORBX YMML, YBBN, AU blue and AU gold as well as REX 2.0 which I must say make for an excellent combination. I have also been the CEO for two virtual airlines and a pilot for a few others. My first VA was Raptor Virtual Airlines, a mostly domestic airline based out of Melbourne and Sydney. That airline survived from 2007 until January this year when lack of member activity and numerou…

Hi guys im thinking about creating a pirep system (php/mysqli)I know there are quite a few already floating around so why re-invent the wheel right?Well my simple answer is for fun and expanding my programming skills.I was hoping to maybe team up with another budding php programmer to see this through.I have compiled a list of modules and structures which will allow expandability.I have no problem using 3rd party scripts such as "PHPMailer" or "RainTPL"-template engine, If their licence permits.--Structure:1. MVC Pattern(im a little behind here I have to admit I have enough grasp)(NO FRAMEWORKS!).2. TemplateEngine(Custom or as mentioned above "RainTPL").3. Modular Based(s…

After three years of serving the community Empora Air, which has had over 500 members over these years will shut down. I am leaving the country for the summer on Saturday and when I come back I’ll be starting a new job and college and can no longer work on Empora. If someone does not step up in the next 4 days, I will close Empora for good. A price will be worked out between the buyer and myself. I have gotten a professional estimate from a website developer on how much the website itself as well as our contents (fleet paints, images, software) are worth together. After the payment is made to me over PayPal it is yours 100%. I understand that this is short notice so I am …
