I will pay someone to design accurate mesh scenery with appropriate items and landmarks of the Albuquerque area. That would include the mountains, mesas, animated Tram (longest single unsupported span in the world), ski slopes and chair lifts on the back side of the Sandia Mountains, parking lot, buildings, antenna farm and observation platform on Sandia Crest, the towns of Cedar Crest, etc. on the east side of the Sandias, Kiwanis cabin and Kiwanis Meadow between the Crest and the Summit on the Sandias, Kirtland Air Force Base, etc. There is a treasure trove of scenery types and land marks in this area. A good scenery designer could go wild with it!I'm not interested …

Hi,I changed the airport data and AI tracks from the default AFD and the changes are saved in a sperate scasm txt file, I then used the latest scasm to compile the file and got a small size BGL for my airport only. I placed it in the AFD bgls folder but it seems it did not override the default one. So Is there any way to make this file override the default one data? Since I want to distribute it with my scenery?CheersMichel

I find the quality and depiction of UK elevations to be accurately portrayed by this mesh! This should end any confusion as to which mesh to get.Nothing is more frustrating than have the area where you live, missing that hill you see out of your window.I went to Glasson Dock, looked north towards the lake district and it matched a real life photograph I took at the same spot!Nice work. For those wishing to know how this was done, I have a theory.Teams of drivers and walking companions, equipped with GPS units, networked via wireless laptops to the company dual processor server, drove every road from Lands End to John O'Groats. The walkers took every walkway and trail. Sampl…

..other than a series of points defined by a latitude, a logitude (how do you pronounce that?) and an elevation (altitude.)I dismiss the argument that detailed information for UK altitudes don't exist as they do for the US.If that's the case then how then did I discover that a point just 10 miles east of Manchester city centre was off by 310 feet or about 100 metres.Seems I have to do it myself.Ever since Junior High, I've known about Ordnance Survey maps. They show correct elevations. What is the format of elevation point information? Seems all I have to do is lay a 30m grid over the map and extract the elevation points. The main complaint about the UK is that it doesn't…

There's an error in my post in "What is a mesh?", and I missed the deadline to correct it, so I hope you don't mind me mentioning it here.Checking the spot height at the point requested by my good friend, Ihor, I neglected to enable the Visual Flight mesh, so the elevation I reported was from the default FS2002 scenery, not the Visual Flight scenery. The elevation at N54 31.02 W2 04.61 in the Visual Flight UK & Ireland mesh (2.0a) is 358m, not 318m as stated. Please bear that in mind as you read the next thread...Thanks for your attention.JohnVisual Flightwww.visualflight.co.uk
