Hey, I have this weird problem with exporting my virtual cabin. When I export it, only 5% of the entire cabin is visible in FS. Also it affects the XML animations of the cockpit. I made the cabin using normal figures, box, cilinder etc. Nothing weird I guess. I did use the group function alot to group all parts of a seat together. I export with both commander and middleman. create x-file and auto interior. Does anyone has a clue on whats going on?

  2. Hello everybodyI wonder if someone can help me with this problem.I'm trying to add lots of special effects to few freeware fighter jets (contrails, sonic boom, smoke etc...) but I run out of available lights (number 0-18 and type 0-10) to be triggered by XML gauges. There is a way to add effects without using the lights section?? some sort of "reserved" effects event???I was thinking adding water and wake effects to the aircraft.cfg (useless and never used for fighters anyway) and triggering them from the XML code but how can I do it?? It is doable??? Thank very much in advance for any suggestion!!! please help!!Regards

I hope panel designers will look at the new RealAir Scout 2006 and its instrument movement. WOW. Instrument flight is now possible in FS9! I won't fly any other plane now. Hopefully someone else can figure out this trick.

Hey, I've seen a program on Surclaro.com {sorry} that has an add-on for the Aircraft's EGT blur. The brown-ish haze when an older aircraft is flying. Anyone got step-by-step guides to having it on the FS9? I feel dumb, I fly in the USAF in real life, but stink at my desktop! If anyone knows please respond!

Hi All, I'm trying to build a visual Backcourse gauge that appears inside my EADI gauge. Here is how it is suppose to work:The Backcourse will indicate that you are more than ninety degrees from the localiser and no glideslope will be available, and you can still capture the back course beam. This is what I have, but the visual B/C doesn't show when I am more than 90 degreees from the LOC.(A:HSI GSI needle valid, bool) 0 == (A:HSI has localizer, bool) (A:NAV1 localizer, degrees) 90 > &&B/CAny Help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Benny

Some months ago I've downloaded a program that is able to check for errors in your /aircraft folder like missing texture's or atc id's.It was very useful to check if the aircraft was presented well in the aircraft folder.I forgot the name of it, and with more then 1900 aircrafts in my folder, you can imagine that some time's some errors get true....Thanks for your help!

The sun elevation angle is the angle of the sun over the local horizon at a certain time.Assumed is spring begin at the 80th day of year (21 March) and an average yearlength of 365.25 days. Individual year lengths and spring shifts are neglected. In first order approximation the earth orbit is circular. To get the local "sun" time, GMT and the longitude is needed:localsuntime=zulutime+longitude*24/360=zulutime+longitude/15The "real" local time can't be used, because of the timezones that attach the same time for a whole stretch of longitudes (ideal 15

Hi,I have some questions about module and gauge programming.I've managed to program a simple gauge in C and a simple module showing a menu. But is it somehow possible to combine these two things? I'd like to have a module (dll) showing and interacting with a gauge or a module that can display things inside the FS. I don't need the gauge inside a panel. Do I need to link these 2 files or is it possible to include the gauge in the dll module? And another question: As far as I undestand I can use almost everything from windows. So what would you recommend to use networking in a module? I need to open a TCP connection to send some data.

I know, there's always one latest solution, reinstall of the Sim, that is.My problem started hard to tell when, and that really is the main issue inthis matter, because I can't figure out when and what caused strange behaviour ofRob's Vspeed xml gauge in the PF10070 v2 aircraft/panel. When gauge is supposed to be quiet till first announcement at 80 knots it actually starts playing the warning sound at 40 knots regardless of correct or incorrect aircraft configuration that is supposed to indicate. The warning wav is played along with all other sound at correct occurences till the last condition (=gear up&locked) is executed, then everything goes off. It's not that I …

G'day my XML gods...Guys is there any way I can toggle brightness other than Bright="Yes" or Bright="No" ?? The reason I ask is that on my MFD, I have two rocker switches. The first changes the brightness of the Map display in moving map mode and the second changes the brightness of the overall MFD.Is there any way I can abuse the cabin lighting to achieve a brighten/darken type function?I believe no, having looked through the documentation.Cheers.taipan

Hi all,I'm having some difficulty ground steering the iFly 747-400. Anything above 30kts and it's impossible to change direction using my rudder.I have a USB CH Pro Throttle, Pedals and Yoke calibrated via FSUIPC. I don't use the supplied panel as I have Project Magenta Boeing Glass Cockpit. Don't think any of this is a factor. My other aircraft is a PMDG737-700 and I'm wondering if I just need to adapt to the larger aircraft but it can't be right that I can't steer during the take-off roll.I'm no expert on aircraft design but comparing the entries in the AIRCRAFT.CFG the Rudder_Trim_Effectiveness entry for both aircraft is 1.000 so that seems okay. However, the iFly CFG ha…

Referring to the following sound.cfg... Could anyone help me with a problem...When I load in the helicopter that this sound folder is assigned to... it automatically starts up BUT just loops through the initial startup wav. The wav. will play... then it will play again, and again, and again, just a coninuous loop without going on to the next wavs... so the helicopter sound is in a continuous loop of the start wav.Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.Thank youDarryl[sOUND_ENGINE]number_of_engines=1eng1_combustion=COMBUSTION.1.00eng1_starter=combustioneng1_shutdown=shutdowneng1_prop=JET_WHINE.1.00[sHUTDOWN]filename=INT SHUTDOWNviewpoint=1link=shutdown.1[sHUTDOWN.1]…

    Hi everybody,Using XML and having a series of numbers in the stack such as8 3 2 5 1 4 9 , how could I find the maximum and minimum numbers?In fact, I want to find the minimum number, then the next minimum, and so on and basically reshuffle the numbers into1 2 3 4 5 8 9Also, for completeness, I may have duplicated numbers like,7 4 2 8 4 6 2 9, so this would be reshuffled to,2 2 4 4 6 7 8 9Many thanks, nick
