I have them both! I flew the Sky Simulations version once and I uninstalled it afterwards.... 😔 So yeah unfortunately not really a good alternative

Just set up a google account, takes like 2 minutes and then you can forget about it and it will be deleted after a while.

They added another update containing P3D fixes a couple of days back as well with some updates! 🙂 However, they seem to have frozen active development for all the sims (I assume they are moving on to their next project soon).

I remember getting rid of it by using Activesky and tweaking some parameters! Maybe have a look at their manual if you use their weather engine.

I would suggest buying directly from TFDI and asking on their discord/support if it would be possible to also receive the installer for the P3D version. Officially they have discontinued MD11 sales for P3D but they seem to be flexible in this regard.

Not correct. The latest update that will be released today will include a bunch of P3D fixes! However, they are probably after this stopping P3D updates (but they are generally moving on from the MD-11 now onto newer projects). 🙂

I will provide the same reply here as in the other thread (based on my experience upgrading hardware and reinstalling FSX): One thing to consider is that maybe your new specs are too good? I had something similar happen to me when I upgraded my hardware : my new computer loaded scenery, etc. to efficiently and suddenly VAS became a problem (even with all my resized textures, etc.). Maybe try lower your settings quite a bit? Personally, I finally gave up on FSX at that point and moved to P3Dv5.4.

unfortunately the only way is to buy large SSD storage! My recommendation is to buy extreme large ones 4 tb or larger (and not do it like me and cheap out with smaller storage 🤣)

Looks like they are managing it at least! haha, maybe a bit too many dogs for my taste - more like a farm at that point. As a dog owner myself (Rottweiler and Staffordshire Bullterrier), the key is to set boundaries and understand that it might not be a good idea to e.g. let a child be alone with a dog that could potentially inflict serious injury. Even though dogs are generally quite good at understanding situations, and extremely unlikely to attack, things could easily go wrong if a dog misinterprets something. This is far more likely with children that just don't have the brain to keep these type of considerations in mind (e.g. pulling the dogs tail thinking it is all just big fun, until it is not). Luckily in Sweden there is strict liability related to dogs so most people are pretty good at avoiding incidents but they do happen from time to time.

Do please mention the bugs in their discord! They seem to still be working on updating the P3D version so if it is mentioned the probability is higher.

The ATR-72 works very well in p3dv5.4! Like you pointed out it is not study level but good for flights from A to B. Haven’t extensively tried the gtn integration but when I did try it, it worked pretty well! The default fmc is also decent enough (even though very basic).

Unfortunately it will not be that simple (aka the spaces make no differences ultimately)

I can only agree that it is a very good addon! Very immersive to fly! Sometimes I only do a flight up until cruise but it is so much fun following all the flows, etc. 😁

Seems like Carenado is having a sale on Simmarket (haven't seen them have a sale in a long time). Maybe not the highest fidelity aircraft but I guess it is a good time now to pick-up some of those otherwise overpriced birds (thinking that I will myself get the DO228 and maybe the Embraer 120 as well). 🙂

This is due to the new windows update. It wont work on 24h2 or 25h2. Only option is to go back to 5.3 or uninstall the plane and forget about it 😔
