  1. I discovered and tested today this wonderful little app. It is really a game changer for all GA aircrafts. It allows a very fine trim tuning, different for each plane I own, for the wheel as for the electric trims as well. Bravo and many thanks for its dev !
  2. For sure. I often fly there with Active Sky and I have no snow.
  3. Well done. Have a happy new year with Chaseplane, but don't forget the champagne in the cabin... without transition but with moderation !
  4. It's yours to decide. Bindings are very easy in Chaseplane and you may have far more options than in MSFS (limited to 10 views). As you do, I'm using the MSFS2020 keyboard and mouse controls. I only duplicated the general profiles for all my controlers (the yoke as well) and then deleted the camera assignments. After that, you may assign the same keys or same axis in Chaseplane as those you are using in MSFS. It's probably quicker to let Chaseplane erase all your camera settings, but I wanted to be sure to keep my initial ones without having eventually to desinstall the program.
  5. Yes, but you will have to desinstall Chaseplane to restore them. That's why I preferred to create new profiles in MSFS by deleting myself all existing camera settings.
  6. Chaseplane is a "game changer" for all people using a head tracker like the Tobii in my case. It's now possible to freeze the view you are looking at, and then, back to center.
  7. I think he does it manually.
  8. This is called "spot view" in the External menu (top of the list). By clicking on it, you can map a key or a button for it, as for any views.
  9. True, but you may easily manage these effects in the preferences menu. The only issue I have with Chaseplane is the configuration of a second controller to manage the drone : the axis of my controller are not correctly recognized by Chaseplane (RY and RZ axis are only moving half way, though they move OK in MSFS...). I submitted a ticket for that.
  10. You may look at the sound level of your different apps in Windows sound mix menu : GSX sounds are perhaps to low.
  11. You have the passengers seated in the last update of GSX.
  12. Did you try to repair MSFS ? Go to the Xbox app, then MSFS 2020 in your library, click on "manage" then "verify and repair". Just in case before further investigations. Be aware to rename your Community folder first to save it.
  13. And the 2 updates are free ! Thanks to the dev.
  14. I flew today from LFMN to LGAV on MSFS 2020, with low resolution textures. Very smooth flight. Only a very short stutter on touch down. But as many times, I had a sim crash when loading the update for the firts time. We still need to delete the WASM folder.
  15. I don't know why we could not discuss the comparison between the 2 sims. We share our experiences. The author of this post never said that MSFS 2020 was "better" than MSFS 2024. In its actual state, and I flew many hours on MSFS 2024, this sim is causing many issues for people having a low-mid range hardware. That's all. Of course, you may enjoy MSFS 2024 with GA aircrafts, and I do with the Justflight PA 28 for example. Problems arrive when you try to fly add-on liners on big airports.
  16. Agree with you at 100%. I share the same experience with an RTX 4060 (only 8Gb memory). As you, I've planned to upgrade my GPU in the next months (probably a 5080, in case I have to change my screen for a 4K). No neeed to hurry, because owners of high end GPUs still have issues too with MSFS 2024...
  17. And what's happening if you simply change your texture resolution ? How can you get all these stutters with a RTX 4090 ? Just wondering...
  18. Hello, You can try the snipet already done for the bravo on SpadNext. It works quitewell to simulate the beta range in MSFS2020. I don't know for MSFS2024 because we are waiting an update, which should come pretty soon.
  19. I spoke of MSFS 2024. Same comment as above : you have a RTX 4090, the "must" of GPUs 6 months ago !
  20. Hello, your post confirms that we need a RTX 5080 at least to run MSFS2024 in good conditions, without any limitation (i.e. liners and big airports). Having a "poor" RTX 4060 TI (8Gb), some flights may be very good (my settings are mostly at low level, with an extra, clouds on ultra), I get around 90-100 FPS with frame generation. But sometimes, as the author of this thread is experimenting, landings are very stuttery. I never know how my flight will end : quite annoying isnt'it ?!That's why I plan to buy a 5080 before the end of the year. I have no such limitations with MSFS2020, with most settings on high. Of course, I'm using AutoFPS too. What a marvelous app !
  21. I guess AS does not overwrite anything. You may always go back to MSFS stock weather by switching to Live Weather in the MSFS menu bar. It will disable Active Sky.
  22. I'm surprise that nobody has noticed a sudden loss of FPS. I'm running the SIM about 60FPS (FG on), and suddenly, the FPS fall below 10... I tried to downgrade multiple graphics settings without result. At last, I discovered that I had to turn photogrametry to off. Then, the FPS came back to normal. It seems like there is some incompatibility between the new Bing data and photogrammetry. Edit : I think the reason is that I forgot to update my dlss files with DLSS Swapper... Fingers crossed for my next flight !
