Very strange story going on here. Not even sure this is a topic for the MSFS forum. This seems like one party views this as a dispute and the other as theft. This should be in the hanger chat area or locked down. It really no longer bears any discussion here. It's simply a dispute between two parties. Believe what you want.

You don't need to "purchase" any airports to do this. The game has most any airport you could want to use. They are many tools to create short flights online. Little Navmap being free and a fine example.

Sounds like a pretty loose statement. If that is his thought what would even have encouraged them to port a copy over for the Playstation???🤔

It never was but most view it as a "game"! The Original Sub-logic FS back in the early 80's was quite popular for it's time. Not a serious simulator like hard core people here on the forum.

Because the moderators are very slow to keep and eye on the forum and remove content that has nothing to do with MSFS. Occurs daily unfortunately.

Only from some of the same evangelists that will agree with your assessment as noted in the likes your post received. There are many default airports in the game that are excellent that wasting money on add-ons are a waste of money.

Add-on Airports are a total waste of money. I rarely fly to or from the same place more than a couple of times. They are way to expensive to justify this fact. They fall into the same garbage category of the many add-ons that are on the marketplace. The marketplace is fast becoming a polluted mess!

What is complaining about it here going to do? Generally when I have issues I believe are caused by Microsoft or my ISP I let them know. Coming here to moan will not get there attention to solve the problem.

The exact same for all of the people re-posting YouTube videos here. People can just go to YouTube and find videos themselves these days. AI searches also work very well!!!

Testing Hardware would be a positive reason. Not many places you can do that. Other than test and return if you don't like something. I do get a kick out of hardware that is shown and a given company/person says coming soon or this year and it becomes years. Honeycomb is a prime example and Meridian is showing the same.

Why would Someone want to watch an awards show for a flight sim game??? I'm a little perplexed as to the benefit and hoopla that surrounds this event. After all it is just a game for entertainment. Doesn't really lend itself to traveling around the world to partake in. Maybe someone will chime in and explain the benefit of this event, I just don't see it.

Not gonna waste my time watching someone's reposted YT video here on AvSim again! From the screen shot alone all I can say is it looks like an Apple Ipad!!! What a toy.

Seriously. This is just ONE persons opinion. Not gonna waste time watching a YouTube video regarding ground handling. Not gonna support YouTubers looking for clicks! People make these videos constantly. I'd rather use my time to enjoy the game. The topic has been beat to death for one thing. Secondly we are talking about a game from Microsoft. Not sure how perfect folks think this product will ever be but it's pretty good right now as it is ground handling and all!

Don't buy all the hype with the "Study Level" buzz word! Many of the real systems are not replicated. Yes, it is quite realistic. MSFS is a Game! You want real you will need a Level D simulator. Others on Avsim do not like hearing this bit Microsoft is a video game publisher that creates games that simulate things in real life. I enjoy the complexity of the game while using PMDG products but hardly see this as "study level' for whatever that means. It's a bad description for a video game/simulator product.

Can you go into more depth as to what your poll is for? These pop up often on Avsim and for the most part I’m not sure what these polls accomplish or serve?

Typical YouTuber, what do you expect? These folks on YouTube want us to believe they are gospel when it comes to anything! I simply will not click on any of this garbage as it relates to MSFS. There is far better information here by many, many real users.

Don’t disagree one bit. Just don’t need endless YouTube videos from people telling us so!
