I do think they should've included an FMS as one of the navigation options. Especially for those that to like to fly online. Imagine getting a reroute on Vatsim, good luck with that!

Apparently, the controller was responsible for both ground and tower. He was dealing with an emergency aircraft on the ground while singlehandedly controlling all movements at a very busy airport. Totally unexceptible. One person can only deal with so much before becoming totally task saturated.

I forgot about this one. Looks great! With this and the Skyward Simulations C680 coming soon too, it looks like we're going to be well catered for when it comes to high quality bizjets this year.

I'm sure I've simply just started a subscription before, downloaded the ones I wanted, and just canceled it again only having to pay just the one month. Admittedly, it's been a while since I did that. $18 is probably a little steep for what they are.

I've tried a few. The packages for the default Longitude, CJ4 and Kingair are very good and a must have in my opinion. The set for the PMDG 777 wasn't great. The good thing is you can just take out a one month subscription on Patreon, download the ones you want, and then just cancel it again.

I had 3000 set on the FCU, which was the stop altitude of the SID I was flying. Either way, its a pretty serious bug that needs to be rectified quickly.

Happened to me earlier on my first flight since the update. Hopefully, the fix is available quickly. Does make you question what sort of testing (or lack of) went into the update as it's a pretty big and obvious bug.

I wonder if any F-14s will be made airworthy for the airshow circuits now? I believe one of the key factors for the aircraft not being allowed to enter civilian hands was the risk of spare parts making their way over to Iran.

After looking into this project a little more closely, I think this has the potential to be one of the best bizjets ever released. Great system depth, sounds by Boris, datalink on the G5000 (a first?). The devs are really active on discord too. Posting in-development stuff and answering questions. Something I'd like to see more of from other developers.

This is exactly what I want to know. It's why Im not a huge fan of these cinematic trailers. Yes, it looks good. But, looks are only half the story. I want to see more long tech demo videos created by the actual developers who made the aircraft. I want to know about the work that's gone into making the aircraft as realistic as possible.

I love the A350. After a few performance issues when moving to FS2024 (a problem on my end, not the aircraft). I've flown it pretty much exclusively. Combine it with Flight sim first officer, and you have yourself a fantastic long haul aircraft.

Really looking forward to this one. Hope we get a freighter in the future.

I was just about to mention this one. Have there been any recent updates? Im guessing the release of FS2024 has thrown a spanner in the works.

Im sure Fenix simulates all the subtle differences between the different models, including the flight dynamics. The A321 for example has options for additional fuel tanks I believe.

It's unfortunate that the UPS md-11s didn't get a proper send off. I doubt the FedEx fleet will be far behind now.

My highlight next year will be PMDG's 747s. Especially the classics.

Just ran through this and the results seem promising. I also disabled Smooth motion in the Nvidia app and re-enabled frame generation in the sim. A350 on the ground at KMIA with loads of AI traffic. No fps drops or stuttering, even when panning. Looks like this could potentially be problem solved (fingers crossed!). Thanks to everyone for taking the time to offer me suggestions and help. Hopefully, this thread could be of some value to someone else in the future too.

Thought this might of worked for a brief moment, but no lol. Even ChatGPT seems to be stumped with this one. What do you think could be causing this? I still have FS2024 installed (maybe not for much longer at this rate). Been sitting here for the last 8 hours trying to get to the bottom of this. Im about to start ripping my hair out! I do have HAGS enabled. Im noticing now, the sim is fine unless I start panning the camera around or moving the aircraft. At the first sign of any movement, the mainthread takes a hammering and goodbye FPS over 20.

I don't have anything set to ultra apart from off screen terrain pre-caching. Everything is either medium or high. I've turned frame generation off. I seemed to be making the situation worse. I'll give smooth motion a try now. It's frustrating because I had none of these issues with FS2020. Even lowering my resolution to 1440p isn't making any difference.

Just ran a few tests. First test, I loaded up the INI A350 on the runway at KMIA and left it there for around 15 minutes. Everything started off fine. After around 10 minutes, my mainthread started to take a serious hit, which brought the sim to its knees. Second test, frame generation off, empty community folder, default 172 on the runway at KMIA. Sim remains stable, no FPS hit. Now, I've installed the INI A300 and introduced it to the same scenario. Been sitting here for 20 minutes. Slight FPS hit. But no mainthread issues. I've come to the conclusion that the A350 and frame generation are the sources of the problem. As soon as frame generation is enabled, the mainthread takes a massive hit. No matter what the aircraft. GPU drivers are fully up to date. Why would frame generation be causing such issues?

Yes, monitor definitely plugged into the 5080. 14 FPS with frame generation on.

Just spent the last few days upgrading to FS2024 from FS2020. Just tried to do my first flight and im faced with very poor performance. FPS on the ground is not bad. 40-60 unless I panned the camera. In-flight, however, the sim tuned into a total slide show. Saw FPS as low as 8. Never had any problems in 2020 with this system. Any help appreciated. AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5
