  1. I am not a real world pilot but am an enthusiast. Here is the General Aviation News article that I found this website. New Tool Maps Mid-Air Hotspots — General Aviation News Mike
  2. Not really simulation related but thought it would be fun to post. This free website displays airborne hot spots for untowered airports in the United States. If you have a favorite you like to fly and out in the simulator, type in the airport code or use one of the menu selections. ADS-B Loss of Separation Analysis Mike
  3. Thanks I will try CTRL + Space for the parking brake. Although, when I remove the wheel chocks, the rudder pedals release as if the chocks are the brakes. I will also try slew mode. Mike
  4. I purchased CAS J3 Cub and was able to fly it when I first purchased but today I cannot get it move on the ground. All Variants. Anyone else having this problem with the FS2024 version. Tried restarting system, uninstalled and reinstalled, still have the issue. Before anyone asks, chocks were removed. Seems like a nice aircraft. Mike
  5. Here is FS2024 Native San Juan Islands Pack. Upgrades above airports to FS2024. https://flightsim.to/addon/107247/san-juan-islands-2024 Mike
  6. I have not decided yet. I fly mostly small single engine GA aircraft and am very happy with the Caravan. Also, not a fan of the g1000, prefer the GTN units for ease of use on a home simulator. My next premium aircraft will be one or both of the Lancair's in development whenever they become available. Mike
  7. Just received email about upgrade from Just flight but they have not updated the download section yet. Only option available to me is the 2020 download and not the discount code download. Mike

  9. With the Caravan release and its ability to land in remote airstrips I thought I would start a topic for users to share remote or back country airstrips they have visited. Today I flew the short flight from Big Creek Idaho (U60) to Elk city Idaho (S90). Elk City is challenging because it has a curved runway. Elk City Airport-S90 - Google Maps Mike
  10. The interior of the passenger versions seams quiet to me but I do not know how loud it is supposed to be without headset activated. Exterior view is plenty loud. I do not own the Flightfx aircraft.
  11. What I do is over the years for airplanes that fly often I purchase laminated checklists from checkmate aviation. This is only for general aviation though, which is what I fly. Mike
  12. I am glad they finally made a printer friendly manual. The black background is terrible. I had the original saved to my ipad because of this but I like having a printed manual for reference. Mike
  13. enjoyed a nice flight today from Bowerman to Gold Beach. Mike
  14. Thanks for your work, looking forward to starting in Bellingham and working my way down to Southern California. Mike
  15. Thanks for making these Northern California and PNW airports. Mike
  16. I purchased one when it first cane out and I like it for using the flight simulator on my laptop. The biggest issue that I had with it is that the Honeycomb profiles did not work when release and I had to find a GA profile that was created by another user. Hopefully this is now fixed, otherwise you need to find an alternative to manually setup the control and if I wanted to do this I would just use my Xbox controller without the nice features of the Echo. Mike
  17. I tried it and sort of like it. I like the ground school portion a lot but the flight portion, I think could be better. My problem is most consumer level controls (that the average person afford) are not accurate enough for real world training where you are given a grade. I even set them up per the videos. I do not mind having a flight review after the flight, I just do not like the scoring system and seeing the word "Fail". This does not stop you from going to the next lesson, which is good. Also I have my simulator set up for cold and dark, so when I start the lessons, I have to quickly start my aircraft or loose precious altitude. I would not mind starting on the ground and climbing to altitude. I hope I am explaining this correctly. I probably will continue to use it when real world weather is not good and I want to use the simulator. Mike
  18. Do not know if I am allowed to post this here. But if interested in learning GA engine operations, pilot workshops has just introduced this course. They are using the A2A Comanche for MS 2024. https://pilotworkshop.com/products/airplane-engine-operations/ Mike
  19. That has been a problem forever in the simulator. I just looked up KORS in Say intentions and it has correct CTAF of 128.25. Mike
  20. I decided to try out the Blacksquare Baron today. How am i supposed to enter the cockpit. Pressing "enter cockpit" or Shift+C does not work. Very Frustrating. Any ideas. Thanks, Mike
  21. Is anyone else having a problem with the fuel tank select on the Bonanza. I hover my mouse and all i get is the o with slash through it. So it is stuck on off. This is on the turbo Bonanza. Disregard, I was able to start in this off position. thanks, Mike
  22. It is on your order page for the analog aircraft in Just flight account.
  23. Vincent, thanks as always for your wonderful scenery's. The above link appears to be broken. I had to do a search om flightsim.to for L52 to download the update. Thanks, Mike
