  1. Yet another subscription nibbling away at the household income. More like a problem created.
  2. Is it still a long and painful experience installing it?
  3. Did you try 2K? I'm interested to see what the visiual and performance would be like with 2K and 1080 with lower setting son 2K and ULTRA on 1080. Only if you have done this already yourself or are considering it. I guess that it is also a little dependent on screen size too.
  4. Wow. That is fantastic ongoing product support. Hopefully it will silence some of the haters.
  5. Yes, this is inexcusable and something that they really need to sort out. One year! What a joke.
  6. The 10 x MFG latency would make it unflyable. 4 is bad enough.
  7. He could have just waited until tomorrow before posting the YT vid. Maybe actually try the dynamic FG first.
  8. The fuel trimmers work as an animation only……they don’t do anything and yes the fuel trimmers were used all the time. A lot of the cockpit noises are missing or wrong. No inverter whine or the sound of pneumatics when operating the brakes etc. The engine/prop is not anywhere near modelled correctly and is very disappointing. No ground fine pitch (and the growl sound) is missing on touchdown when it’s used. Prop locks don’t seem to be modelled. The nose pitches up when the gear is lowered. The way that some of the reviewers are starting the engines would have resulted in 2 molten blobs in the engine exhausts. I didn’t expect a study level rendition but I did expect at least some of the major features unique to the F27 would be modelled. It’s placed somewhere between Virtualcol and Carenado. Unfortunately there is no try and return feature on Marketplace anymore. Not a major investment but I feel a bit duped. This one will be a hangar queen.
  9. I’m surprised that there is not a package including PM FMA call-outs. After all the Airbuses are “Fly by mouth”.
  10. You can use the iPad for remote CDUs etc. Using apps like Aviaserver.
  11. What shouldn’t be tolerated is the OP slagging off a developer's product, when it seems most likely that the LNAV issue is either a result of operator error, a hardware/ binding error or an inadvertent control input. Surely he did more than this one flight to reproduce this behaviour?
  12. Great for airliners, Chaseplane and word not allowed internet. Mines running great but there will come a time soon where I will make the transition.
  13. Is the Inibuilds A350 a single purchase for 2020 and 2024? No upgrade fee etc? It's not clear on their website.
  14. Unfortunately we don’t have a choice. If we want an add on with a good airside representation then we have to put up with the “sim city” inside. When I see those promos I think to myself that if they have put that much effort into the interior then the exterior must be top notch. Yes eye candy sells sure, but we pay for it. But my FS funds are not endless. If we had an option of a reduced price for a minimal interior (looks good from airside) then that would be great. We could have more of the world covered. I suppose it ultimately depends on whether one views the title as a game or a simulation.
  15. Simple economics. Developers time costs money. Hey each to their own and if you get a buzz out of aimlessly wandering around airport interiors, then good on. IRL I hate wandering around terminal interiors so I couldn’t think of anything worse in a sim. There is a difference between super rendered interiors and representative ones (especially when viewed from the exterior)? What seems to have been lost in the noise is that developers time could be used to produce either a super accurate exterior or maybe 2 airports modelled (with reasonable exterior representation). This would increase the available add on stock. I certainly know what I’d rather have, and with frequent gripes about default airports, there are many others too.
  16. It might be fantastic. But once you have explored it then that's it. Wouldn't you rather have 2 airport add ons both being accurately represented outside instead?
  17. Just think if developers ditched the super detailed airport interiors you could probably buy 2 airports with excellent and accurate external details. After all this is where you are going to be spending 95% of your time is it not. The same goes for aircraft cabins.
  18. I’m betting it will be a simple fix. When, or if, they ever get around to it.
  19. Why? Quite a few 2024 addons are being backported to 2020. It shouldn't be too difficult.
  20. I haven’t flown the HS 787-9 for quite a while now. Have they managed to get a TOGA reference line on the HUD yet?
  21. Has the LOD issue been addressed? I seem to recall that this was as issue and made some of the scenery worse than 2020.
  22. I considered this a while ago……and briefly. Subscription models sound great, but at the end of the day when the collective cost of all household subscriptions is added up, it becomes a sizeable chunk of income. Navigraph is the only FS related subscription I maintain.
  23. I sincerely don't think that they could. It would be in constant beta with each release breaking something else.
