.ORG store is on V2 too - My downloadlinks are pointing to a V2

I got a very similar issue. The ATC window opens behind the top menu bar. I cannot get this sorted. Same issue applies to the kneeboard, the window is tiny like a single line. Nothing to work work with. Two things changed a. I installed A2A Update for the P51 b. I installed ORBX NA Fjords and Pacific Northwest Any idea? Cheers Martin

helloi used to paint a lot of aircraft in FS9. i have switched to FSX Acceleration Pack Sp2 recently and i tried to repaint a FSX model. I modified nothing else than the color of the texture and now the aircraft in FSX looks like it would have too much alpha. More, it looks like blank metal glossy.Any ideas on what this could be? Any tips on painting with PS FSX SP2 textures.The second problem i have is with trees from FS9 scenery. They have a black surrounding. I compared them with default FSX Sp2 textures they look identical from alpha channel and layout.Where is the problem?Thanks for helpMartin

helloyesterday i upgraded from XP SP2 to Vista 32. I had to reinstall a fresh copy of FSX and FSX Acc.AA does no longer work as it did under XP.My framerates are equal to what i use to have in XP but without AA. I tried with nhancer, deactivating the default S profiles. what worked in XP does no longer in Vista.Did i miss something?My system:E6600 Core2Duo 1066FSB3GB Ram DDR2-667GForce 8600GTS 512MB DDR3Vista 32BitForceWare 169.09 BetaNhancer 2.3.2Driver SettingsAA = Multi 4xAF = 8xVSync = offFSX Settings:DX10 = CheckedFiltering = TrilinearAA = uncheckedI have one diffrence, i installed 169.09. hii had to install my system from scratch. this week installed a vanilla version of FS9.1. After having installed now several add-ons, suddenly a message popped up when loading FS9. there is a dialog coming up and in the window title is says "unknown name". i can click on OK and FS9 loads normal. i can play normal. there is nothing that is not working as it should. the last add-on i installed before the message came up was FS Flightdeck 4.does anyone have an idea what this could be or how i could debug?thanks for helpcheersMartin

i have installed Vista one week ago and i am running FS9 at about 5fps faster than under WinXP. It might be only related to the fact that i did not update Xp to Vista. I did a fresh installation. Finally i don't care. FSX is no topic for me because i could not run it well under XP neither i can under Vista.My Specs:ASUS P5P800 SE MoboP4 3.2 Ghz2GB Ram DDR400GF6800 GT 256MB320 GB SATAVista Ultimate Build 6000I have 25fps (locked at 25) in 90% of all sceneries running complex panels 100% 3D clouds 80% traffic. With FSX Demo in St. Maarten using the cessna i got 5 -10 ;) sliders not maxed out.CheersMartin

hii have moved to Vista and i am experiencing a slight problem.Vista does not have the c:document and settings folder. Due to this FS9 .cfg is not located there. With a trick i was able to relocate it. However, AS6.5 B533 is searching for the folder on startup. Every time i specify the default FS9 folder where i installed actually FS9. It keeps me prompting. I have no clue if this will help, but at least for me it did.I got 1.5 GB of Corsair Memory in my system and when i was trying to do a flight from Shanghai to Zurich, the system ran out of memory. Not nice i thought, but i could not really remember that apart from installing the PSS777 i applied a change.While investigating further i found some minor change. Well, it turned our to be a nasty "minor" change.Suddenly i had fsuipc 3.53 isntalled on my system. I would not complain, if it would not drain my memory.While having 3.53 installed, once the aircraft is loaded, the memory usage begins to grow, 500m would be normal for fs9.exe. But the usage increases, and when it reaches 1.5gb, a nasty pop-up shows up, saying that i should clear my RAM. CTD is the next step.I reapplied 3.48, and the problem was gone. I have made a flight from Tokyo to Zurich with the PSS777, not crash after 12hrs.Maybe you have the same issuecheersMartin

talking about pricing Randy - i spent a bunch of money into Wilco's Airport 2002 V1. Nice addon, but the 737 NG was really a selling feature instead of a usable one. If i knew, by having trial, then i'ld never would have purchased the producted an wasted my money, instead i could spend it for my daughther ;) The second waste of money, while talking about Wilco, was my Lovely A320. Nice idea, but unusable without having a 3D helmet or something else. Another waste of money. Why should i ever buy another Wilco product? Never again unless i am able to test it before purchase. Another excellent example for a porked addon was the Aviosgraf A340. It never made it into the air. 40$ were gone ;)I honour every addon that someone brings out and is worth of the price. See Flytampa's Airports. A very good example for a good addon product. There you are getting an addon with superbe quality and affordable price. Addtionally, you can have a trial to test it before any purchase. I as a customer, i am really willing to pay for a product, if it fullfills, what i expect. Like you, no better, probably earlier than you, i purchased the PMDG 737 when it just was released. It was just like 5 minutes after you could start your purchases. The first month, it just looked like another Wilco effect. Product not working, struggling over the activation process, ... Finally, PMDG removed the ugly acivation process from the 737, rememeber. I paid for a 737. I got a 737. I paid for the extension, because i'ld like the product and i would have paid for another addon to the 737. Unfortunately the 737 reached the end and i still have an unfinished 737. Cool, if you like the IRS on your 747, but it's pretty useless on my 737. Let me get to the point. If a price for product is reasonable and fullfills my interessts, then i don't mind to spend money for pieces of addons. You are critisizing Arianes price - your right. I do too. But i don't mind the price, if i am getting a product that fits my needs. And Ariane does. And it does with every piece they put toghether in my 737. They didn't focus on X products. They focused on 1. But this one they do right ;)Finally everyone has to decide for himself on what he is able and willing to invest to sastify his needs.I am satisfied with my Ariane 737, my Leveld 767 and PSS A3xx I don't need more aircrafts. I give nothing on reviews, neither on job nor in private life. And guess what, suppliers at my Job, give trials for 30 to 180 days. And even my television or my laundry machine i can have 30 days trial at home. I only purchase what i have tested myself live and in color.No trial, no purchase. I forgot that for a second, when i purchased from Wilco and Aviosgraf. I learned the lesson. How do you getting a trial, even if no trials are available? There is a saying in Switzerland. "c'est le tons qui fait la musique". You'll probably can manage to get a trial from every supplier. You just need to ask. Even if you don't belive it, i am convinced that one cause for piracy are cheated customers or/and because of unavailability of trials.Another cause i see, could be the fact, that in the gaming area, lot's of people are underaged, don't have enough money to buy all the nice new products, with which they are tempted with. And for a teanager, probably the worst things might be to be "out". Is it just because not having a Levis's 501 or not having a X-Box360. What ever. And i have still a strong but unconfirmed believing that some marketing people at well known companies are calculating their success of a product by releasing it to P2P networks, ahead of release time. The product will spread on every home computer within days. And people will start talking about the product. Maybe even complaining about it. Now those clever guys read complaints, aswell as bugs found, apply quickfixes and two month later release the product. Ain't they clever? yes they are. While public betas are not really good, because the feedback is poor and the people having it are mostly unskilled. P2P copies are being hacked, cracked by excellent, skilled "script kiddies". They go deep into an OS and you as a developer couldn't get better infos on your product bugs and holes than by having those people playing around. Do you think, Mercedes didn't know that press was looking at their elk test with the A class when they turned the car on side. Sorry, if you believed that. It was nothing else than marketing. Excellent marketing, because the new A class ran through almost every newspaper worldwide.
