July 9, 2025Jul 9 Has Asobo discussed anything re. the server backbone? No point asking on the official forum from what I read about censorship. There are still issues despite a fast connection. Server performance varies from day to day. Hopefully it is on the list of fixes soon. Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

Des problèmes persistent malgré une connexion rapide. Les performances du serveur varient d'un jour à l'autre. Espérons que ce problème sera bientôt résolu. Eternal problem in both versions, beta version or not .You can only notice it by flying a lot.
July 9, 2025Jul 9 I uninstalled 2024 for the fourth time, and it will be the last time for at least six months. 2020, on the other hand, has never looked better, and it seems to improve with every new update. I have noticed that when I install 2024, I encounter problems with 2020. Here is 2020 on my meagre PC, running at an average of 50fps on my 3060. The judders were fixed with the cache removal tool, which I must remember to do "before" a flight. Personally, on FS2024, I feel like I'm flying on warm eggs. Fragile. Things are cracking under my wings, in scenarios we don't even control, the causes of which are multiple and completely random. When I return to FS2020, it's the calm and serenity of a Tibetan temple. What a pleasure this FS2020 is! This version is truly incredible. It has enormous untapped potential, wrongly so, but we know the reasons perfectly well.

Hello cavaricooper, To confirm what Tuskin38 wrote above, there isn't "censorship" on the official forums. However, like all platforms (including AVSIM), there is a Code of Conduct that forum members are expected to follow. We have always allowed feedback about MSFS -- including negative criticism -- on the official forums provided it is expressed in a constructive and respectful manner. I can assure you that when you see people here complaining that their post was removed or they were banned from the official forums "just for sharing feedback", you are definitely not getting the full story. Kind regards, SeedyL, MSFS Community Manager

It would have been anyway difficult to censor them all.It would have made an impression of emptiness.
July 9, 2025Jul 9 @SeedyL Very much appreciate the response above- Ta! Can you please expound re. the issues of a strong server background/backbone and VRAM management? From my limited perspective these two items are still monumentally impactful on the 2024 sim experience. Thank-you Sir! Carl Best- Carl Avari-Cooper

The official forums are the place to ask. Could be wrong of course, but it's rare to see the MSFS team get into discussions here.
