Are the servers less busy in this part of the world? Dunno. But what bothers me is this rolling cache thing. Say you happen to populate the cache when the pg and scenery is rubbish because of high server demand or whatever. Are you then stuck with it? Or does the sim check for better data? You can't delete the cache without faffing about in 2024.

Good question.

In 2020 I had RC turned off and used the Map Enhancement mod.

PG was not perfect but looked better.

2024 is supposed to be a the improved successor.

2024 is a big improvement over 2020 in important areas.  Doesn't surprise me at all there will be  improvements needed right through 2024's development, just like there was through 2020's.

Always an apology why 2024 is still being fixed.  😉

2020 generally speaking has a very poor landscape/mesh/vegetation quality compared to 2024. It needs to take a tour all around to see these improvements, and it was in this way from the beginning. FS24 is not just PG (and it's improving over FS20 day by day).

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

After 6 months the state of 2020 was way better than 2024.

Of coarse 2024 will become better and better.

Here I still have both sims and for stability and performance it is 2020.

And I don’t have CTDs or performance drops over time in 2024…

Selective vision (ignored my mention of 2020) and short memory (How many SU's did 2020 need)

PG is one of the main features of the MSFS franchise.

The quality of 2020 is, at this moment , way better.

But it is fixed and working well now as opposed to a bugfest that 2024 seems to be. They can't even get the second SU beta to work well.

Seems to be - how well is it working on your PC

It is a beta, which I'm pretty sure you have replied to people don't enter a beta if you don't want to deal with bugs.

It works great, I average almost 20 flights a week, with not one problem.

PG is one of YOUR main features etc. Not to mention that the FS24 scenery is way more complex than FS20 and it needs more work on that. The problem of FS24 was that it was released too early in a sort of Alpha condition in a utterly dishonest way without informing the customers, but its concept shows a great improvement compared to FS20.

You might take a look at the 2 vids I just posted. Show me the difference in complexity between 2020 and 2024.

I would like to see it ….

The only thing you can see is that 2024 has specific melted blocks of buildings where 2020 does not have that.

I agree with you on the release. Lets hope for the best ✈️

I wouldn't install 2024 on my PC, not asking for problems.
