Happy for FlyByWire and the A380, but as an Add On Linker and GAIST user, they should have come joint first too.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

This is going to be contentious but bear with me.
I don't think Fenix should have won that. And I say this as a big fan of Fenix - in fact literally flying the A320 as I type this.

The Fenix A320 is one of the single best quality aircraft releases that we've had in a long time - that's undeniable.
But! What we are judging here is the expansion, not the main product.

So I put it to you - is the A319/A321 expansion which is basically same as A320 with some minor differences more worthy than the brand new effort that is PMDG 777, or iFly 737 or even the FSS 727?

I'm not sure that's true. I think people voted with their brand loyalty rather than objectively judging products.

Remembert that Fenix Block2 was also released in 2024.

Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Running P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 scenery objects as an additional library, just in case), FSX-SE, MSFS2020, MSFS2024 and even FS9. XP11 and 12 installed, just for curiosity.

Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there for airliner ops. FSX-SE also installed, just in case. Lossless Scaling in al my rigs. What a godsend...

VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.

Congrats to all the nominees and winners as well as a big kudos to the event sponsors. I'm currently ferrying the Duke on BATC back from PilotEdges Sim n Fun heading to check out FlightBeams updated KSFO as I am currently in Pensacola FL heading to New Orleans on my next leg. It will be interesting to see how the awards will develop in the coming years.

I see what you mean, but I voted for the Fenix expansion. It holds more value to me than any of the other choices, including the PMDG 777, which I also own. I always go back to the Fenix, realizing that all alternatives are lacking in some way. That's just my personal take.

I agree, the A319/A321 is just a variation of the A320…The iFly max 8 is something brand new, and it is the only airliner I fly now. Haven't flown the Fenix in months.

Fair points as I voted for Fenix but have second thoughts about it now. If I had to do a vote again I would have chosen PMDG 777-300ER and next the IFLy MAX8.

These results are based on releases from 2024 not 2025.

And to be fair that's totally valid. I don't mean to sound like I'm down on the people that voted for it - by all means there are legit reasons to.
Personally I voted for 777 but what I really wanted to vote for was the 727. It's a release that's somewhat compromised by issues, but also the one that's most exciting to actually fly for me. Old jets are just my jam.

However I ended up with PMDG to acknowledge that it was probably the more impactful release of the year compared to all others - arguably the first long-hauler in the sim.

Glad to see the Dukes win - superb product!

Sorry but this part is not at all true.  They 100% deserved that win, just because the cockpit looks the same there is a ton of work under the hood to differentiate the A319 and A321 from the A320, they are different aircraft.  Its semantics really because they could have easily made the A321 and A319 both standalone products, its just down to how they chose to go about pricing the product.  PMDG used to offer the 777-300ER as an expansion to the -200LR but now its a standalone product.  It still has the same features and functions however they price it.
