Could be either the 1930s twin-engined racer, the DH.88, or the four-engined jet airliner, the DH.106. Both were de Havilland Comets.

IM's Scampton is very good, and captures the atmosphere of a Cold War V-bomber base perfectly ( I know - I lived on them as a boy 😉 ). The only problem is the lack of an ILS, which I consider essential for the Vulcan at night and/or in poor weather. I wonder if it's possible to do a mod ??

The -700 is the only one I own, so I'll be getting it. It's been a bloody expensive few weeks in MSFS, mind you! 🤣

Yes we are spoiled, but no, I'm not jaded. The state of flight simming is astonishing at the moment, and will get even better.

I would also like to see India updated. I could spend my entire flight-simming life between India, Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, then up through the Pacific.

Just bought the A340 - 600, the Just Flight Fokker F70/100 is at the top of the shopping list, and the TFDi MD-11 keeps nagging at me. Then there is the DC Designs Concorde to consider, once it's all done up for FS24. Do I get time to fully learn them and fly them extensively? Absolutely not - but I just have to buy all the new shiny toys. Add-on addiction; something I was determined to avoid coming from P3D to MSFS...😐

Definitely going to follow this mission. It'll be Christmas 1968 all over again - without the snow, and my grandmother getting bored with it.

I'm having installation problems using the app Aerosoft One. The aircraft installs to FS20, but not FS24. In the app settings, I have ensured that I am pointing to the FS24 folder which contains the Community folder, not the Community folder itself, and I have ensured my Windows User name is the correct one. Has anyone else had similar issues ?

I think 320 SimPilot mentions at the end of the video above that he's going to do some tutorials on the A340-600 - either that video or his live stream posted earlier. Like you, I also need to brush up on the FMS, and I like his style of presentation.

This is also by 320 Sim Pilot, but still worth watching for the opening scenes of the A340-600 in the air. She must be the most beautiful Airbus of all.
