February 3, 20251 yr Incredible, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference! Just how far we've come in the past decade of what can be done with modern hardware and software is astonishing. February 3, 20251 yr For a moment, I thought the bottom left video was MSFS 2024, and the bottom right video was real life. I think I thought the bottom left video was MSFS 2024 because I am used to flying the white livery for the Cessna 172 G1000 in MSFS 2024, whereas the bottom right video had a dark black/brownish livery so I suspected the bottom right video was the real life video. Until maybe 5 minutes in the video, the glare on the bottom left video and the smudges on the glass gave away that it was real life and I realized I had them mixed up 🤣. Thanks for posting the video. This is what we need to do - to keep pushing the MSFS team to make the graphics and terrain more real, and also to make the physics better. And for the latter, I feel the MSFS team has made huge strides in making the physics better, especially the flight model and the ground handling in MSFS 2024. February 3, 20251 yr Amazing! Scenery is so accurate! I remember when I was like 14 y.o and launched FS II for the first time on my ATARI 800XL. We came from so far and at that time, nobody could have dreamed about msfs24. Yes, it will probably need a few months to be ironed but once this will be done, we will have an incredible sim. I keep faith!
February 3, 20251 yr And let's not forget, this is a *default* aircraft in the sim, albeit one that Asobo has focused the most on in terms of their GA fleet. I look forward to what 3rd party aircraft devs are able to do in the coming months/years, especially as they move beyond getting their birds compatible with 2024 and start taking advantage of its new/native capabilities in flight dynamics, ground physics, and other aspects. Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

You have to try the Cows DA-40 - feels great in 2024. February 3, 20251 yr You guys are crazy. Why would you fly a sim that looks like real life when you can fly p3d? Only real simmers TM use P3D. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
February 3, 20251 yr Commercial Member Great video! It would be easy to extract scenes from these videos, for which nobody could tell wether it is the real one or from the sim. And not just some rare occasions when the sim by pure chance does get it right. You could pick scenes from basically the entire video.
