Aerosoft A330 first looks and reviews

Featured Replies

Seen a video where if you change the weather the A330 just flips into the air for no reason at all this was while on the ground. Sorry but you have FBW that is free and can do the basics of flight besides RNAV but can still hold. Then you have a product that is payware that can't. Its nothing more than a cash grab and would not be suprised if they focus more on 2024 with it.

  • Why are you trying to criticize people's opinions? It's worthless what you are trying to do.  It's the community who invests money in products and they are all potential customers. That's so

"diversity" is no justification for disrespect. You certainly don't seem to be happy when "diversity" involves your attitude being criticized.

Being part of the community and representing the community are very, very different things.

I normally defend products but you can't defend this. A reason why streamers rather not show because its in no other words terrible. Its pretty clear why Mathjis decided to leave.

Have you ever stopped to consider that you or I may not be the "potential customers" of this aircraft?

I can pretty much guarantee that there's going to be plenty of people perfectly happy with this, whether you like it or not.

Yeah, Captain Sim has many fans too.

Well - no one has been mean, mocked or otherwise said anything which translates into rant or unjustified words about this. I haven't read any posts, which fall into that category. I don't know what topic you're reading, but to defend and claim that this product simply is "normal" and just falls within what you'd expect from a modern payware product, simply doesn't correlate.

It's interesting. I just came from watching a preview of the upcoming iFly 737-8 Max. It's just night and day, now, I know there's a pricing diffference (actually we don't even know what price of the iFly yet) but the difference is just mind-bogggling.

Looking at the Aerosoft A330, at the current state it's been released in, I'm actually a little shocked. There's simply basic features, which are missing. sim-breaking bugs and - at it's current state - it's simply not usable for serious flying/simulation. I know Aerosoft has always said, that they would "simulate the day-to-day work of a pilot". But this airplanes state, isn't even able to accomplish that.

Why release it? Very few people would be satisfied with this - especially given what was promised and previewed by them for years...

Best regards,

It's not complete, but it has the feature set that fits what causal simmers would require. The model and texture work are definitely high quality, and the whole thing is bespoke instead of frankesteining stuff from other aircraft into it.

Are you saying the A330 model and texture work I recommend watching Blu games review

As a German Tax payer, it really hurts to see this "thing" in action that was partially funded by tax payer money

This same streamer is now idle thrust and the throttles are commanding power I really don't know what to say.

I've linked him to a live stream to prove the textures are not high.

Seriously?

Why even post links to these YouTubers.

YouTube content creators are certainly no means to for judging a product.

These people are looking for clicks for revenue for themselves.

So the average consumer can make an informed decision to purchase a product? I’d rather give them a $1 for their review than spend $35 on something I’ll hate.

Thanks for putting that concisely for me. I will give him (tpete61) that some are more thorough than others but once you identify who to go to their service is valuable in making an informed decision..

No they give us the truth. If they were looking for clicks and revenue you would think they would be streaming it over the social media platforms but they are not.

The *vast* majority of the aircraft market is clearly inferior to this.

😄 no

this is one of the worst I've seen released for MSFS, and from a company that's been such a huge part of the FS community for so long - very disappointing

Sure. As A YouTuber I would also search....because they earn money with people watching them AND companies CAN use them for making marketing.

But...if a companies releases like this...then a YouTube help can be your nightmare as well.

And the stream I watched...weren't that bad but they where clear about what they expected and found released.

That is important for Aerosoft.

I think aerosoft has a huge issue at their management.
