Meanwhile, AFL K350 is great. 

I bought my first AoA Sims addon, the T-6A Texan II. Think of it as a turboprop P-51 and you're not far off. It continues to grow on me. 

Also "pending" FJS 727 v4. My UAL Captain dad's favorite work plane. 

X-Trident AB 412 and CH-47 Chinook. Faster and smoother than any Cessna/Piper piston😉

ETA: XP v12 defaults are (almost) all Payware Grade. Well worth the time, esp if REP pack is added.

Until that time, unfortunately, it was a purchase that lasted all of a week or so with only 1 full flight completed. Sorry, I am just being honest as to my reasons why I was so disappointed.

I bought the first version of the LES DC-3, for XP9 ifI  correctly recall (?... maybe it was only by XP10 ? ), but when it was released recently I had already spent a bunch in Airlinetools FlightDeck A32x and wasn't ready to purchase it 😕 but while I feel for you at the same time reading about the reasons that make this aircraft kind of useless for you just made me want even more to buy it as soon as I can start reinvesting in X-Plane 🙂

It's indeed so different to taxi a DC-3 in XP compared to any of it's versions available for MFS, because ground physics shine in XP compared to MFS...

I have the VSL DC-3 but I don't like the way it flies... rather strange in yaw stability ....

Thanks for the tips on the sale - very good price.

Note: On download the "liveries" folder was defective and unusable. However, when updating with the Skunkcraft program the liveries came through.

I think the cost of entry is MUCH higher - like $8.00 for the base Falcon game 😁

Ha Ha, I’ve had a copy of falcon in one form or another (continuous playing since FalconAT) that I completely forgot you need to have the Falcon 4 exe. file ( and only that file) on your computer to use BMS. I think you can “obtain” that file off the internet but never needed to for the above reasons.

I didn’t give a dam about where the devs were born up until recently. Then a delusional sociopath decided to re-create World War 1 a couple of hundred miles from where I live. In just under 24 months approx 500,000 souls (both sides included) have been prematurely and violently taken. To be accurate it’s not where the devs were born but the regime under which the company they work for operates. The devs may have views on the matter one way or the other but haven’t voiced them. Given they not only work under that regime they also live under that regime...... I don’t blame them.
