I don't see a difference between AA versions...

I think it's you who didn't understand that the "they're working on it" excuse is obsolete and tiring.
Xplane has a long history of serious bugs that were never fixed despite the usual "working on it" phrases circulating.

I really can't understand people. If I were not satisfied with some product, and if I were convinced that said product will never get better, I wouldn't spend one minute of my life thinking about that product. That's completely irrational (or even stupid)! 🤷‍♂️

Everyone of these threads turning into useless debates lately. I wish I had this much spare time to argue with someone over the internet...

Actually this may end up being the first productive thread in ages.

Actually have specific details on what they are actually talking about to forward to Laminar.

I do wonder how many "AA not working" reports they threw out so far after confirming there was nothing wrong with the AA. I suspect a lot.

Why did you quote me?
Why are you answering me?
No Murmur, it's stupid to reply to me when it wasn't me who opened the topic or asked for clarifications.
Go to page1 and reply to the person concerned asking about XP12's bad AA.
It's user ryanbatc you need to answer to, not me.
ryanbatc user asked a serious question and wants a serious answer, possibly other than "don't worry they're working on it".
Can you imagine an Xplane or P3D or MSFS discussion forum where for every serious technical question the users answer "don't worry, have a beer, they're working on it".
It would be the puppet forum.

I state that I entered the discussion only because the user h2egc wrote that the AA was also a problem with XP10.
Which corresponds to the truth !
XP10 and XP11 also had AA problems.
So h2egc was admitting that the Laminars, in 10 years, have not been able to fix the antialiasing as, instead, all the other competing simulators have been able to do (even the 32bit FS2004)
The words of h2egc rowed against the words of Gorum who instead stated: "they are working on it".

"They're working on it"?!?
For 10 years?!?
Laminar have been working on the AA for 10 years, and they presented XP12 with the AA still buggy?

Do you understand dear Murmur the contradiction?
Do you understand why I intervened in the discussion?
I only intervened to point out the contradictions of xplane fans.
At least agree on the phrases to say otherwise you risk stepping on each other's toes.

Anyway, don't waste your time answering me.

Can I answer you?

They're working on it.

Thank you for your patience.

Have a beer.  Read a book.  Watch a movie.  Hopefully when you come back, all XP12 problems will be fixed.  If not, rest assured, they're working on it.
