  1. I admit - I'll watch an unboxing video now and then. I now shamefully announce my first ever unboxing vid. There. Social media nerd badge attained. https://youtu.be/YD7PqBkYkns embedded... Hope it's useful!

  2. From all the specifications I've read, the Fulcrum One Yoke checks all the boxes like no other yoke on the market. I've owned yokes from CH, Saitek, and Precision Flight Controls and lately have been in the market for a new yoke. I almost went with Honeycomb unitl I came across what appears to be a hidden gem in the Fulcrum One Yoke. Check out this review of others and see for yourself how Fulcrum One checks all the boxes others didn't: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKl08XO8LSE The biggest thing I noticed is that Fulcrum One has 8 inches of travel on the pitch axis AND 90 degrees of travel on the roll axis, while the others do only one or the other. PF…

  3. Hi Chris, Just wanted to give you a heads up on an issue I'm having. When I used my yoke today, I heard a clicking sound while moving the yoke along the roll axis, near the center. I opened yoke and noticed that the 4 screws that are holding down the enclosure that the yoke pole goes through are loose. This causes the entire enclosure to wobble from side to side, thus causing the clicking sound. I tightened the screws and the clicking sound went away. Is there anything else I need to do? Here are the location of the screws: https://photos.app.goo.gl/siW6A1KqPTeQEKHb8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/LjENjS7CyZeNF3bo6 Also, when I move the yoke on the pit…

Is there a link to the forums that I am missing and not seeing, besides going to the "News" link, scrolling to the "New Support Forum" post. Clicking that link to open post to get to the link in the story to click on it to get here, "The Forum"? Besides "Bookmarking", but with all my bookmarks, the long scroll I have to make takes just as long as the above process. It's quick and easy to type URL, and even quicker to get here if "Forum" was a link in Navigation Bar. Chris, any chance getting your webmaster to add "Forum" to your website navigation bar and link it here? Maybe... Home Products Support FULCRUM SIM News Forum My Ac…

Would someone please post the size of the clamp, ie from the underside of the top of the clamp to the top of the bottom part of the clamp. I need to know if it will fit on my desk. Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris and fellow Fulcrum yoke users, Are you guys adding deadzone in your sims for the yoke? If you do, how much are you adding?

Hi guys, I'd like to put a holder on the yoke for my iPad Pro 12.9. Is this possible? Which holder do you guys recommend? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Chris, I received the yoke for a couple of weeks ago and so far it's been excellent. I do have a question regarding the hat switch button. It's not visible as a button in MSFS and the windows calibration utility. Do you know why? Also, I took some detailed photos of the yoke. Do you mind if I post them in this forum? Thanks! Nicolas

Kudos to Chris and his team for how they handled the situation when my yoke arrived damaged due to rough handling at some point on its journey to me. I emailed Chris with some photos and without even requiring me to return the old unit first he sent me a new one. Chris organised the return and the UPS guy who brought my new one took away the damaged unit. Can't wait to get it set up now.

Hi all, I would like to share with you my experience after a week of owning the Fulcrum One yoke, because this experience is worth it to be told. First of all let me start by saying where I am coming from in regards to yokes. My only previous yoke so far has been the now discontinued ACE desktop 737 yoke. Even though that was a solid constructed metal yoke compared to entry level alternatives and had no central detents, I soon realized that its sticky elevator feeling was not allowing me to perform tiny adjustments that are crucial in flight and especially in takeoffs and landings. So, soon after the Fulcrum yoke was announced being close to release, I sold my ACE yo…

  11. I'm just wondering if the latest Covid restrictions in the UK will affect the timeline for shipping new yokes. If so, of course that's understandable, and your health is far more important than a delay in shipping. Best wishes to Chris and everyone in the UK.

  12. Started by Spit40,

Busy week, but finally I got things set up today. I did a short flight over the Lake District and my conclusion is that i love this yoke. I think its the length of travel I like most plus the smoothness of it. I had an ACE B737 before this and despite its similarly sturdy appearance I found it would bind on the pitch action with the weight of my arms on the yoke adding too much friction. The engineering under the bonnet here is far superior (I've looked inside both of them) and there is none of that friction issue or pitch stickiness. Overall it has a very reassuring and realistic feeling heft. Nice job Chris!

  15. I did about 6 or 8 circuits at KERI in X-Plane 11.50r3 Windows using the default Cessna 172 with the REP expansion pack. First couple of landing were quite hard getting used to the increased throw of the yoke and not flaring enough. They continued to improve as I learned how far to pull the yoke back. This was while using the Valve Index with its touch controllers that were on my hands at all times. I have been waiting for some time to be able to do this test and it has exceeded my expectations. It took a little bit of time to get the virtual cockpit adjusted where I can touch every switch without hitting the yoke. A very happy Bill

Dear Sir, It seems that the link to download the mounting template is dead. Is there any other way to get the template? Many thanks. KK P.S. I have just submitted the pre order form.

  18. Started by SparkerInVR,

Chris, Since you have a few yokes out in the field can you attach your joystick config files for your yoke here so we can test before it gets included with the next version of X-Plane? Thanks Bill

Following this with great interest. Quick question, I will not be able to use the clamps as I have a pull out keyboard tray underneath my desk. Is the yoke heavy enough to stay in place with it's rubber feet if you go easy on the controls. I only fly GA, never tube liners. Thanks in advance.

I've reached the point of despair trying to find a replacement for my aging old Saitek Yoke. Since MSFS 2020 came out I was convinced I needed a Honeycomb but I've had no luck finding one besides on eBay (I refuse to do business with scalpers). Today however, I came across this Fulcrum yoke... I'm completely smitten by it - THIS is what I need in my life! But alas, I fear I may be a couple of weeks too late. 😞 I tried registering for the pre-orders on the Fulcrumsim.com website even though the image said "out of stock". I never got a confirmation email so I'm worried I may have missed out on it. Is there a chance I can be put on a waiting list or something? I don't…

Chris, I have a few questions if you don't mind: 1. Postage to Australia. I presume that I would be looking at around 100 quid? 2. If I pre order now, would I get one once it is released? (Don't mind if you do not want to answer this because of sales figures.) 3. Is it seen by MSFS 2020? 4. Is it still on track for a release in mid this month? Sorry for all the questions but my CH yoke is on it's last legs and needs to be replaced. Many thanks in advance. John

I’m looking at getting a ‘sim racing seat’ with a steering wheel mount (eg something from the X-Rocker or GT Omega ranges), and i’m wondering if they have some standard hole placements for Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels, and if the Fulcrum matches any of these?

Hi all Here is a long overdue update. Firstly apologies, I have had to deal with some family issues which has kept me busy recently. None of this affects Fulcrum Simulator Controls as a business except that the timing is rather poor due to the current state of things. The workshop is on stand by and I am dealing with social media and emails etc until we are up and running properly. This means that anything that keeps me away from responding means that nobody responds to you. Let me reassure you that this is not the normal mode of operation and that you will receive responses in a timely manner. Thank you to the various people who expressed concern, i apprec…
