C90 GTX King Air HD Series for FSX | P3D

As you can see below this is what I did after a few flights got lucky with key combo I guess - flight was perfect except for ILS landing had ILS freq set and course which is all ready set as you come on final to runway as you can see its reading perfect in the PFD Now I could have just let it do its thing to the runway as fms was doing all the work buy hey tried auto land and when I hit VOR1 then APPR thing went wonky - APPR would not turn on even tried Jim's idea of hitting VS to shut it off but it was all ready off which I would assume was a good thing - had to hand fly it in no problem - any thoughts on what I did wrong on the ILS approach did not here ILS beep…

    Has anyone managed to intercept an ILS glideslope in the C90 using the ProLine avionics? The localiser function seems fine, and in another post on this forum there's a suggestion that you have to be around 1,200ft agl to pick up the glideslope but I don't think any real world interception would be that low. So far, when I do an ILS, I sail majestically over the airfield unless I wait too long, cut the autopilot and wrestle the thing down myself. It's just not very satisfying to fly a great plane badly.

  3. Hello my hawker 850 and c90 gtx both hang at 10% when I got the c90gtx both c90 and hawker850 stopped working all the other carenado air craft like 505 work great help :(

  4. Dirt and spray from behind the any P3D v3.1 aircraft makes a low spot view almost impossible to use. I'd like to remove this effect if possible.I've posted this question on other forums and have received one possible solution concerning // spay and dirt effects in the airplane file. Unfortunately it failed to work on my install. Does anyone have other suggestions. Thanks

    I installed the C90 and it uploaded the default FMS data. I also downloaded a new Airac cycle but cannot get it to update in the C90. I see in the CarenadoNavigraph folder it still shows the 2013 cycle. In my PMDG folder it shows the updated Airac cycle. If I try to copy the PMDG updated cycle into the CarenadoNavigraph folder it does not seem to work. Can anyone advice what I may be doing wrong. Thanks. I'm running Steam FSX. My main Staem folder is on a HDD but I moved FSX to a SSD. Maybe this is causing confusion with the program? Thanks.

    Hey all, just got this bird, was really excited until it loaded up...I run the majestic dash at 40 frames a second easily, so when this one reduced me to 3 frames a second I was surprised!!! it's 1.2, every other plane works perfectly even with the gtn750, so what's going on , any ideas ? any patch i don't know about ? should add I am running i7 with windows 10 and gtx 780ti graphics card (16gb system ram). p3d is at the latest version as of today , 3.1

    My C90GTX doesn't stay on course in the air with th autopilot off. It slowly rolls right. Doesn't seem to matter what weight I have for the plane. Is this accurate? Also on the ground while taxiing it pulls left.

    Hello all, I've noticed that the C90 brakes are way too sensitive! I use a joystick, so when I hit the brake trigger, the aircraft responds with a full sway forward then back. It's rather annoying to be honest. Are there any modifications I can make to either my P3D settings or aircraft that will prevent this from happening? Many thanks.

  15. Hi everyone. I have 1.1 installed, and did my first flight from SEZ-CRQ last night. Great bird, however I did notice that when I tried to climb to FL260, I set FLCH to desired altitude and Vx. The autopilot did not climb me at Vx, but at a speed significantly higher, I think it was around 120kts IAS. Also, FLCH did not work on descent at all. Also about descending, since FLCH didn't work I switched to V/S mode and it also would not descent after setting he alt bug, so I hand flew it down. Anyone else have this issue? I'll see if it happens again and report back.

    Can anyone provide a tutorial for a simple flight and show me how to use the VNAV with the FMC. I am still having problems with the aircraft not following the FMC ALT constraints. How about another tutorial without the FMC ALT constraints and just use the FMC NAV and I can control the ALT myself. Or better yet how do I fly this aircraft in general. At the moment I have ditched this in the hangar and flying something more simple like my PMDG aircraft (at least I know their VNAV works).     Well, there I was level at 10,000 in clear air and pulling about 1450 lbs on both engines at 1900 rpms. I took off from KSMF with full fuel tanks about twenty minutes earlier. The left engine quit and I feathered it. About five minutes later the right engine quit. I feathered it and dead sticked into KMYV. Once on the ground, I went through every thing I could think of in terms of flipping switches and neither engine would start. The temp was above freezing at altitude and at the surface. Never had such a problem before. Any ideas? Update: I must have over torqued the engines. There are two red "lines" on the torque gauges. I couldn't find any max torque …

    I hope it's not just me but the FMS isn't working in this bird just like it didn't in the S550. Does anyone else have this issue with Carenado's navigraph database and STEAM. In the meantime I'll have to wait for Bert to wake up (9 hrs time difference) and get the mod to fit the GTN-750 :wink:

    Hi all, Just wanted to see if anyone out there was having an issue with FPS performance with the C90 GTX. All of my aircraft, PMDG, A2A, Milviz etc perform extremely well. My Carenado Navajo is amazing however I can't seem to get the C90 GTX to perform just as well. I'm only raising this as it seems that most people here aren't having any issues with it. I'm running FSX Boxed with all the bells and whistles, ORBX etc etc. Hirdy

    Dare I even quote the real manual hehe... I'm trying to activate leg on the FMS.. I depart an airport, fly a radar vector to a course from an intersection to a VOR. I filed my route using the airway between the two. How I do have the FMS setup the track between the intersection and the VOR?

    I'm still on my learning curve with the Proline 21 so hope you don't mind the question. How does one change the Active Navigation Source on the MFD? Does that require creating a flight plan? I typically do short hops to Boeing Field, and the Active Navigation Source indicates Paine Field (PAE) and VOR2. is this a default setting somewhere? Thanks in advance. --WH
