Phenom 100 FSX | P3D

The adjustments of HDG, CRS, ALT and SPD knobs here are very slow. Would have some way to fix this?

This is a previously posted issue but bears its own thread. It has been reported by others as well. At the start of a flight with the Phenom, frame rates appear normal but after takeoff the FPS number drops heavily to 6-9 FPS. The sim becomes virtually unflyable at these frame rates. Tests with other aircraft do not show this issue on my test system. It only appears with the Phenom. It appears to be related to the rendering of textures, but I have no way to tell exactly. It is definitely something Carenado should look into. It does not appear on other Carenado planes I have tested.

The heading or the middle display is not showing and there is a warning saying "VD FAIL" I tried a bajillion buttons but its not working. help

Carenado released the Phenom on the 3/4/14 and we're still waiting on the SP1. They released their King Air 200 X-Plane on the 15/4/14, and it's just received it's first SP! OK, the SP for the Phenom addresses a new product and not a port-over, and it'll be worth waiting for. Won't it?!.....

I just installed tha Phenom and according to the manual you can set / change the default values of the G1000 system in the G1000_config.xml file. However, I can not find a G1000_config file anywahere on my system. Where should this file be and where can I get an example of the file structure.

Hello! I Have an issue with Phenom. I have read all the manuals, emergency checklists ets, but i cannot find any solution yet. So im flying now at 37000ft i have OAT -53oC and my IAS is dead in Both Displays and the Backup also, so i guess that i have ice in my pitot tubes. Since Phenom does not have any pilot heat switches, i opened all the rest anti-ice protections for the engines and surfaces but they have no effect on that. So the question is... what else can i do? Strange but i still have Ground (455kts) and Mach speed (.733kts)... Some people may suggest to fly in lower altitudes but in the current situation that im flying, i think it's not possible (i will have fue…

Is the functionality to set the radio to a NDB frequency missing ... or am I missing something?

Just wanted to gather some thoughts on what climb profiles you guys adopt for reasonable fuel use? Have done some light reading and it seems hitting something around 1200 - 1500 ft up to around FL300, reducing to about 400 ft above FL300 seems reasonably accurate. I manually adjust VS in order for the Phenom to behave a bit more like the real Phenom with FLC, since we actually have an autothrottle in the Carenado version, which would adjust throttle position erroneously. I will preface this by saying that I have never used Mindstar's G1000 in any aircraft before. I am hoping to get some feedback or thoughts from those more knowledgeable than myself about the feasibility of using this product with the Phenom. There are limitations to this that I understand. Namely, I understand that it could be used via 2D popup panels only. This is fine for me, given my multi-monitor setup. Secondly, I understand that there is no Phenom-specific G1000 currently implemented in the Mindstar product so it would be more "generic". Just bought the Phenom 100. Whenever I go to turn the strobe lights on, i get square strobe flashes with the FSX logo on the strobes. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

good evening dear all aviators! I have a problem with the phenom 100, can't intercept ILS, I don't understand the right procedure to follow. is there someone who can write the procedure to me step by step? Note: I have already read the manual ... ... but without success! ...no manuals for pleasure!

I have a couple of questions : 1. I capture the glide slope fine. However the LOC message stays white....does the phenom perform a flare ?....so far it lands like a Navy F18 - smacks the runway unless I disengage autopilot and land manually... 2. How do I disengage the throttle after touchdown?...it does not react to throttle command or keyboard inputs... Thanks

The LOC remains white, always armed, so the plane did not catch the ILS. What should I do? ... ... something wrong?? Help thanks

I checked my rate of climb with: with a 1600 fpm indication I only get a 1000 fpm real climb. The simulation rate is normal the pitot heat is on and the altimeter setting is correct. There is a very strange feeling of something holding back the plane. Acceleration on take off is also very slow. My Flight One Mustang is very hot and realistic compared to this one.

I find it unacceptable that for the price of the add-on the lights are not DX10-compatible. Blocks of strobe light at the wingtips !? C'mon Carenado, is this the best you can do ? ...shaking head...

Hi, In light of a few (!) discrepancies that users have pointed out, please don't ask why I'm so fixated with one really small element. It's just I haven't seen what I'm looking for on any screenshot or video. So... On Carenado's Phenom version of the Prodigy, can a wind vector arrow be shown on the screen? The real Prodigy has a selection of wind vector arrows. Has anyone experienced where the heyboard stops working during a flight on this aircraft? I remember the TBM had the same problem and I believe it was fixed on the first service pack.......
