Phenom 100 FSX | P3D

I found the radar page on the MFD, but I see no returns ineven heavy Wx.

I run the sim on my 55" TV using It as a second monitor with the view outside the plane. Gauges are unlocked and dragged onto my pc screen to attend to course and elevation changes etc when required. Can anyone confirm whether the autopilot has a 2d gauge mode? Thanks.

I just bought the Phenom 100 a couple days ago and so far I love it. I feel like an idiot though as I get a "YD Fail" in my primary multy function diplay and can't seem to find a Yaw Damper switch in the cockpit or the manual. I think I should be turning on the YD at cruise altitude. Two quick questions: 1) Is there a yaw damper switch? 2) I bought it on Nov 1 2014. In Carenado's website under "my account" it shows an upadate for this aircraft is available. If I remember correctly from past experiance I should not need this update, as would have been put into any new downloads after the update's date many months ago, is that correct?

Hi all, just needed to get this bird (SP1) allthough the majority was upset about the bad performance and stutters that show up even when sitting on ground like a duck without moving, that was no exception to me. I have a rather old pc with an "old" quad 9550 and GTX 285. I though seem to have managed to find a way to get my good FPS back, rather compareable to the TBM850! Hello All, Not sure why but when I am at cruising altitude and I accelerate the sim speed to 16X, my aircraft starts bouncing up and down. Does somebody know why this is happening? I don't experience this on other aircraft's. Best Regards, Jason

Does anyone know how to get the phenom to start cold and dark? Even if I start the SIM in a parking space it still starts with engines on...

Ok this is the setup if you want 3d shockwave lights in your Phenom - I have not added taxi or landing as they are fine they way the are - if I did it was way over the top so I nice blend between the two - your mileage may vary as it will depend on which rex lighting you have installed as it does replace your halo bmp with another so you can experiment I have not yet but will One thing I did notice is when you choose the Phenom the front lights are on you can just turn on taxi or landing and when you back to off its off and all is well - not sure why it would happen as there is no lines added for landing and taxi lights ? Hi Guys not sure whats going on but if I fiddle to much with G1000 - I cant get rid of the info screen to see the whole map - also how do you pan or walk thru a flight plan Also if i put the approach in its listing the runway in the middle of the list not at the end so when you activate it you have a messed up plan - this is strange - got it to work a few times but really had to work at it to do this - I bought it from justflight anyone know if they have latest files or do I have to find SP1 - Thank you

Hello To Any Early Pilots ------- After reading the product page on the Carenado site, a bunch of questions pop out but can probably only be answered by actual owner/pilots. Here are a few that have my interest and that of others I am sure. Not in any particular order. 1. G1000 features. Which operating features have been modeled and which ones have not? 2. Hello All, I was wondering if anybody knows a fix for the up/dowm action when I'm at cruise ALT? At normal speed everything seems to be fine, but when I speed up FSX to 8/16 x the speed, it starts up/down motion. Cheers, Jason

I havnt flown in the real deal yet, so I cannot say for sure if this is correct or not, but the pitch trim is becoming a serious issue for me when out of autopilot. I can get it perfect when cruising and when descending/ascending at a low rate, but when I have to make a quick descent or rapid ascent the trim is impossible to adjust in a reasonable amount of time. Currently at FL27 with autopilot engaged it set at -9.1!!! On approaches I have found myself having to trim sometimes down to -20 when flaps at full and sometimes even more. This is just super strange compared to all the other Carenado ships. Is it me or is this actually an issue?

This aircraft looks really nice, but unfortunately I've never used the Garmin 1000 glass cockpit. Seriously thinking to buy it, but was wondering if there are any tutorials available that explain things in a clear and easy manner. This would help me a great deal to transition after purchase. I have this aircraft for both FSX and P3d. The FSX version goes straight during takeoff. The P3d version wants to pull to the right and left during takeoff. Making it very hard to control. I checked the calibration and it looks right. I have the latest versions of FSUIPC, Saitek drivers. Since I don't have this problem with FSX. It has to be something with P3d. Is it possible to enter a previously saved flight plan via the Phenom Control Unit (GCU) and MFD or must I exit to the FSX menu. Much appreciated for any help or link to the specifics.

Hi all, I really like the phenom (besides this FPS issue), but as I normally use cold and dark setups, I am really not capable of getting the middle MFD of the phenom to work properly. Only by clicking on the Carenado pre-defined setups "ready for taxi" helps. The problem is: it always shows the start screen, no matter what I do and how I power up the plane. Clicking on "ent" or the rightmost softkey as indicated on the screen only brings the map up for a quarter of a second, then it switches back instantly to the loading screen. Strange enough, as soon as the engines are running, it works as it should. How do you do it? Because of this problem, I am also not able to …

Kit texture phenom 100 Photoshop pls!

How do you enter a SID and STAR in the phenom. It's not doing what I expect to see. I'm a RW with a fair amount of G1000 and GNS430 time. I can't figure out how to enter anything other then direct to and then enter each waypoint after that entry. Hello, Shutting the engines down and pushing the GPU button from AVAIL to IN USE does nothing. With parking brake set, the battery display shows a drain from 24v and falling and the electric synoptic shows it connected until everything shuts down when they're drained. I get that the other systems aren't 100% modeled, but this is odd. Anyone know what the issue is here? Thanks, Jon

I purchased the Carenado Phenom, a long awaited excitement for me, only to be disappointed with several issues. I am not able to figure out why I don't get any rudder reaction when I am lining up to land, it is just like the yaw damper or something else is preventing it from working. This is frustrating especially when coming in on a crosswind landing. The other disappointment is how impactful it is on FPS, as the other Carenado add ons give me a consistent 20 FPS, which is good for my system. I wish Carenado would listen to us that pay big bucks to get these add ons, and hopefully address these issues. Any help with the rudder issue would be greatly appreciated. …

After a weekend of flying this aircraft I have developed a list of items that are erroneous and need to be addressed by Carenado. 1) FPS - This thing is near unusable on the ground with add-on scenery and in weather intensive areas. Even on ground with default scenery I am getting less than TBM frames. At some airport with REX real time weather I am getting 4-7 fps. It almost seems like there may be a coding issue as my graphics card is at idle temps (55 degrees c) when I'm getting these low frame rates and at altitudes when I am getting good frame rates with less scenery rendering, the card is pushing 80 degrees c.
