Phenom 100 FSX | P3D

I'm using FSX Steam Edition and a GoFlight MCP-Pro Autopilot. Any of my other aircraft work correctly but the Phenom 100 won't. When I'm nearing a ILS locator and I press my APP/APR button it lights up but my Heading button should stay lit until I catch the ILS beam, only then should it go out but it dosn't the Heading light goes out every time I press the APP button. Any Ideas for a fix would be welcome?

Yesterday (10/10/2016) I purchased the Phenom 100 Steam Edition from Carenado's online store and while I'm loving this aircraft, one thing that concerns me is that the weather radar and other displays on the center MFD are out of alignment, i.e., they are partially covered up by the engine data on the left side of the MFD: Meanwhile the weather radar is perfectly centered on the Carenado promotional material. Did I do something wrong? I've alternately tried installing the Phenom 100 for FSX Steam Edition and for FSX standard, but the problem remains. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yesterday (10/10/2016) I purchased the Phenom 100 for FSX Steam Edition from Carenado's online store and while I'm loving this aircraft, when I first tried manually starting it up I was obliged to spend a considerable amount of time debugging a faulty center MFD. After reviewing the accompanying checklists and documentation, uninstalling and re-installing the product, I finally learned (online) that the avionics switch must be enabled for the MFD, and backup CDI, to function properly. I can set a speed on the G1000 display, but I can't activate on autopilot the automatic speed control to have IAS speed automatically reached and stabilized Phenom 100 v2 on P3D v. 3.3 v1 on P3D v. 2.5 was working fine thank you

I just took a test flight in the updated version 2.0. It seems that the GPU likes to tag along until the aircraft attains a specific taxi speed. After landing at my destination, the darn thing showed up when I slowed down to make a turn onto the taxiway. Perhaps I'm missing something, but is there an external power switch somewhere that might turn off the external animation for the GPU? Thanks --WH Err... nevermind. found it. Hi all, I was wondering if any of you talented painters would be able to make a small correction to the Jetsuite livery? The 100th Phenom 100 is really N581JS. The current registration on the livery is non existent and in fact it may belong to another aircraft type. Would any of you be able to make this correction and perhaps even offer an additional realistic registration for the Jetsuite Phenom 100?

A couple of minor issues with the Phenom 100 and P3D v.3.35 After reinstalling this aircraft via Migration Tool (and being able to start the engines and have correct interior views), I have noticed the following:- 1. I keep seeing this message: "Flying Tip. Your fuel level is critically low in the selected tank. Automatic refill is available now. To complete this action, press: CTRL + X". Checking the fuel level on the MFD shows plenty of fuel - certainly not "critically low"! Not that important but irritatingly distracting... 2. I've read all replies in the topic about P3D v.2 but, as I am running P3D v3.5.3, I wonder whether anyone knows if Carenado has plans to release the Phenom 100 for this newest version of P3D... The reason I ask is because I am encountering two serious problems . First and most frustrating is that, whatever I try, I cannot make the engines start. This is accompanied by a message saying that the chosen fuel tank is dangerously low - in spite of both tanks actually being full! The second problem is that, in the VC views, the cockpit walls around the panel are transparent and the exterior is as visible through them as it is through the windshield.This is also the case…

I have read many posts but I need opinions. I have FSX Gold. Most of my planes are A2A, PMDG, the Q400, and RealAir. I do have some Carenados though like the Titan 404, Skymaster, Caravan HD. I know these planes aren't "study level" but they sure are VERY high quality visually. So I still like them. I was wondering what ya'll's opinion on the Phenom 100 is. I like the way it looks, I need a small biz jet so I don't want anything with an FMS in it. Does it perform well? I have a very high end PC. Any gripes about it? I love this little plane, it's incredibly detailed and easy to fly in FSX. Great frame rates and just stunning. I'm glad I bought it. I have only one question. When the YD switch is pressed in OR out it seems I do not have any rudder deflection. All other Carenados and other planes I have work okay. If I'm flying and the YD is off and I kick the pedals hard over in either direction the plane barely slips. Is this normal for this plane? Thanks. FSX Gold, Saitek pedals, Phenom 100.

Having an issue that has happened before with my Carenado Phenom 100 Originally as I was learning the cold and dark startup My Cockpit display panels went dark and I figured maybe i ran the battery down... Today midflight from KJAC to KEGE, it happened again. Total loss of instrument panels, FMC went dead, ATC stopped functioning... I saved the flight. Rebooted and started FSX again and loaded the flight. All was back but I had to reset the FMC, AP, and it happened again.... What is up? I didn't find any other reports. I have normal flight s with the Phenom 100 and everything tends to be fine until I begin my decent. For some reason I've been getting an alarm tone every 3-5 seconds (well, more like the 'beep' tone that plays when you fire up the Prodigy) that doesn't stop until I land. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why!?!? IT's very frustrating as I'm sure it's something I'm missing and can't be too serious as I'm able to land normally anyway. Unfortunately, I don't have video to help explain this issue. I don't know what it is and hoping someone else has experienced that same tone and can help me fix it. Hello All, I recently installed the GTN 750 in the Phenom 100 thanks to a modification by Jiri Kocman forwarded to me by Bert Pieke. The modification was based on Bert's Phenom 300, GTN 750 modification, which I installed first, with some help from the guage-master. Absolutely amazing. In order to achieve direct input in the VC (Virtual Cockpit) it is necessary to turn off "Instrument Reflections" in the Carenado Customizable Panel (Shift 4 - I think). I'm a little confused, can the navigraph be updated in the 100. I'm using FSX-SE.i have installed navigraph 1601 for Carenado, but still shows 1401 in the Phenom 100

After waffling back and forth between the FeelThere and the Carenado Phenom, I am happy to report satisfaction with the Carenado. On my system, for the first flight I took at least, I have very little FPS impact, the model is gorgeous, and everything worked as expected. Flying P3D 1.4 (yeah, I know: what a Luddite!), it was smooth and problem free. After installation, I did a cold and dark start, flight plan loaded courtesy of Plan-G (no FMC challenges), I went through a mental checklist and got everything started. G1000 track and range settings, engine start, etc. I even discovered the secret handshake for setting the target cabin pressure! Everything worked. And the…

Am I missing something simple? When attempting a GPS approach am I suppose to get a glide slope indicator like I would with an ILS approach? I do with other simulated G1000's, Eaglesoft Kodiak for example. I have tried toggling through the CDI, no dice. Any Help would be appreciated. Silly me, forgot to mention that I have the RXP430 installed in a popup.

My flight simulator is set to lbs and not kgs. But when I look at the fuel in phenom, it shows the fuel amounts in kgs. Can I change this instead of having to convert it to lbs?

How do you calculate the fuel needed for a flight. I have fsbuild, but there's no prf files for the Phenom 100. It came with pdf for performance, but how to calculate taxi, t/o, climb, decent and all that. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having an issue on the Phenom 100 is both FSX and Prepar3d 2.4. The Map orientation in the G1000 defaults to 'North Up'. When I try to change the orientation to "Track Up' it does not hold and it returns to North Up. Regardless of whether I try to hit 'ENT' or the centre of the FMS cursor knob. Has anyone had a similar experience and/or a fix? I am using the latest version of the aircraft that was just d/l yesterday to see if that fixed the problem but sadly it did not.
