In a few days ;) I would like to fly this ultimative Europe-South american long haul Frankfurt to Ezeiza airport in Buenos Aires/Argentina.May i ask for a flight plan for that one? I hope it would cause less work if only the route is given without fuel predictions as every interested simflyer could than fly the route with his own aircraft and fuel prediction...

Hello OBK,Does that stand for Obiwan Kinobi by any chance? Anyways...I tried doing a flt plan from WSSS to EGLL and this is what it (PM Flight Planner) finally produced:DCT VKB A334 HTY W17 URG A107 NUKUS G5 KUNAS B363 AKT A87 TAMAK UL980 SUI Y208 TUVAK UL980 RKN UL480 REFSO UR1 LOGAN LAM3AThere are several air routes that it post an "in between" distance of over a 1,000nm and one that post a distance of more than 9,000nm!LOL!. I just can't figure this thing out. I have downloaded and used the manual too. I chose the correct exit and entry points. Any ideas?-----------Wilson HinesChief CaptainBush Logistics Corp.http://heavylhc.comAOL IM: dal276wh

It's here at last. I've just released UKRoute Version 1.0. This is an electronic version of the Standard Route Document for flying IFR in the UK. It is available for download from www.hawarden.org.uk/ .Just look in the download section. Be sure to download its accompanying file which is the data for this airac cycle . . yes it will be updated every airac with "Real World Nav Data". An absolute must if your'e going to fly online. I'm hoping this will be adopted by VATSIM-UK as the definitive flight planner for flying IFR in the UK.ThanksGrahamBTW its freeware ;-)

Can anyone help with the above request? I'd be happy with just the one-way route, as I don't know how much that changes.Regarding EGLL, simulating a trans-Atlantic flight would have me arriving in the AM, departing early PM. I think EGLL switches runways between take-off and arrivals (I assume for noise abatement?). If anyone knows which runways are in use for the above times, and which STAR / DP is usually used, that would be much appreciated.Thanks,Bruce.

Thought I would let everyone know I found a site for flight tracking that gives flight plans. FBOWEB.COM. It costs $10US a month but if you sigh up you get a 1 week free tryout. Have a look and see what you think.Chris

It has come to my attention that the AFCAD included in my recently uplodaded BOSAFCAD.ZIP is in fact an old AFCAD for Salt Lake City. If you downloaded this file, please contact me at [email protected] for the correct AFCAD file. A corrected ZIP has been submitted to AVSIM and will hopefully be fixed here soon. It may be faster to wait for the official posting of the file.Major apologies to all on this. I was really asleep at the helm on this one.JPS. For those who have NOT downloaded this file: This is NOT a stand-alone AFCAD for Boston; it is part of a scenery update and is intended for use with Airport 2000 Volume 2. If you haven't downloaded, please wait and download…

I think the level change (known as step climb too) is the most popular way to climb during cruise. But when is the cruise climb used and what for? What is the difference between them? Is there a special phraseology for cruise climb?Examples for cruise climb:C/48N050W/M082F290F350C/48N050W/M082F290PLUSC/52N050W/M220F580F620Examples for normal level change:HO/N0284A045LAM/N0305F180LOHRE/N0451F350NOTAR/K0853S10604602N07805W/N0500F35046N078W/M082F330

Boston ARTCC is please to announce a new feature for transaltantic flights to and from Boston involving the following European cities > EGBB/Birmingham, EGCC/Manchester, EGKK/Gatwick, EGLL/Heathrow, EGPF/Glasgow, EGPH/Edinburgh, EGSS/Stansted, LGAV Athens < for PIC767 users. Boston has joined with NY in making Transatlantic travel easier than ever with a new flightplanner that allows you to choose from a drop-down list of routes, NATs and charts. The new system is in beta, hence we only have a few cities involved and the planner only generates a PIC767 plan for your selected route at this time. Hello, I'm looking for any recent Cathay Pacific flight plans using a 744 or 772 to Europe, U.S., within Asia, where-ever. Does anyone have any in their possession that they wouldn't mind sharing?Out of curiosity, does anyone know what's now considered the most difficult/challenging airport to make an approach for landing? In many people's opinion, it used to be Kai Tak (used to live only a few miles from there), but what airport's taken that "coveted" spot?Best regards,Dalat
