HiSome real world BA routes I've posted in various places that I think may be of some use trying to encourage pilots to fly better routes. All routes are for B763's. EET's are included for the various FIR's the flights pass through. I've found the VATSIM site for Oceanic Tracks including the Concorde tracks. Problem is I can't seem to find the actual fixes in SquakBox or Superflight Planner which I use.I was going to add then fixes into SquakBox but they use a different system from DD:MM:SS so I quit.Here I am all fired up to do it the proper way and -- NO GO.Can anyone help by either :-Advising how I convert real world Lat/Long to SquakBoxorSending me a SB FP with these fixes programmed in.Thanks for any helpbf

ATC in FS2002 seems to have changed Descent Procedures.During the last 4 or 5 flights, ATC has cleared me for descent in increments of 1000 feet.The last flight I flew was cruising at FL370. On descent, ATC cleared me from FL370 down to 10,000 feet in increments of 1000 feet.As a consequence, it takes me longer to descend and I am too close to the airport to descend to the ILS altitude.On flights prior to this, I was cleared from altitude down to FL200, then to 15,000 feet and then down from there.I used the FS2002 flight planner to create these flights.Anyone have any idea why the change?Thank you for your help.George Meaux (Mo)

I have just returned from a vacation in New Zealand, and flew back on a UA B777. I assume these a/c need an ETOPS approved routing over such vast oceanic distances. Does anyone know of such an ETOPS route between these two airports?Thanks,Bruce.PS. For a 12 hour flight, and the fuel it must take to fly a fully loaded 777, I was surprised at the take-off performance- very fast acceleration and takeoff, almost seemed like a local domestic flight :).BK.

Hi everyone. I'm sort of new at all this. I've been flying sims off and on for several years but never really was very serious until now. I am in a VA and I am starting to fly online at VATSTIM.I'm wondering which is a good flight planner. I am mostly looking for something to calculate my fuel usage, but extras are great. I downloaded FS Navigator and it's really nice, but of course it costs $35. I found this program called "Super Flight Planner" here at AVSIM, but I haven't tried it yet. I see it's freeware. Ok so I'm cheap LOL.So the question is: should I just spend the $35 or is there something out there free that does the same thing.All opinions are greatly appreciate…

Ok, the hard work is done, basically. I think Tocart...and this message is directed at you Tocart because you said this is your job and I tried to make this easy and relative to your latest testimony to your absence:)... helped me with some flight plans for my virtual airline all departing and arriving Paris Orly. Now, when I open some of these in the FS2002 planner, geeze, it takes me from Paris to Halifax, then back to somewhere in Germany or something then to my final destination! The routes jump all over the place and I think it's because some waypoints have the same name and FS2002 gets confused by this....I dunno, but Tocart, or whoever, if I send you these route…
