SR22 GTSX Turbo HD Series for FSX | P3D

Hello all. Overall the Cirrus is a very cool plane and product from Carenado. I have many of their aircraft and enjoy each of them. At this point, I only have one question. I don't see a light bloom on the landing light under the spinner. Could be the rendering my video card is providing. I see the light cast on the ground, but not a bloom. I am using a GeForce M 540GT with latest drivers. All else looks great! Just curious if anyone else having this issue. A fix? Trust me its not make or break, just curiosity on my part. Like this product so far, been tweaking some sounds, other than setting up EZdok cameras I'm loving it so far. I am starting real SR22 training this week at a local 135 outfit, so bought this is a great training tool!

Hi all, I read somewhere that Carenado manage to develop the route planning from their G1000. I hope Carenado can let the Flight planning enable or as an option, to evaluate how it works so we can judge our-self how much hassle does it represent... but.... After 2 years of writing this post (http://www.simforums.com/Forums/reality-xp-3d-mask-addons_topic38350_post225137.html?KW=#225137) things have change on a very positive way, we all got nice planes with RXP functionality directly from the Virtual Cockpit... I have had the SR22 GTSX for about 4 or 5 months, recently the plane does not fully load in the sim for spot (outside) view. I get missing textures (almost like the skeleton of a plaen in the air) and I can actually see the pilot through the gaps. This only happens on the first load of a saved flight, if I reload the flight, then the plane shows just fine. I have set my My cfg to allow for both 2048 / 4096 size textures (always did). The only recent change to fsx is a increase my cloud density. Please help...

Does anyone know what the small blue handle on the left side of the centre column (near the oxygen switch) if or? Doesn't do anything that I've noticed - but maybe I missed something...

CARENADO CT182T Skylane and SR22 GTXs Turbo SERVICE PACKS RELEASED. August 13th, 2013 Carenado has released two cumulative service packs of CT182T G1000 HD SERIES FSX/P3D and SR22 GTSx Turbo HD SERIES FSX/P3D ... 3D knob technology were added to both aircraft plus an improvement in performance of G1000. Existing customers can simply re-download the complete package from the online store they originally got it from, to get the latest version or get the Cumulative Service Pack 20130813. This update is highly recommended for all existing CT182T and SR22 II customers.

I just purchased this lovely aircarft and going over the documents that come with it and I for the life of me can't figure out how to input a flightplan and exec it. I can kind of get direct waypoints in but the keyboard in the center console doesn't work properly for me. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Please consider a "Lite Version" option for the SP This aircraft is wonderfully modelled and clearly on a lot of sim-pilots shopping lists...but better Frame rates would probably allow a lot more guys to go for this. My frame rates are worse than anything else in my hanger ie: NGX, Realair Lanc, Bronco, Avro etc... Please consider the "Lite Version" option...better Frame rates needed to ensure complete satisfaction

Hello dear Carenado, your new improvement of the actual TBM G1000 is WAY better and lighter regarding the performance and FPS. Compared to the Cirrus performance it is like comparing a VW Golf with a Ferrari B) ! The Cirrus is such a beautifull and long awaited beauty, just it´s overall computer performance that MUST be in relation with the G1000 is so distracting and thus I grounded it for this reason.I guess I speak of a lot of customers here ... please, after the TBM is patched up correctly, give your former G1000 releases , the T182T and the Cirrus an updated G1000 to get these birds back out of the hangar into the sky! I know with the sr-22, there was a lot of complaint about the g1000 not being fully functional. I know that for some (like me) this is an up, while for others, this is a huge drawback. That got me thinking, if Carenado could release a cheap update the would give the g1000 full functionality. From Carenado's recent releases, it seems that the current g1000 simulation is going to be seen many more times over. If Carenado were to release a cheap update pack that would give all of there g1000 planes full functionality, that would please both sides of the fence. I know that I would buy it, when I finally want to learn full systems for all of the planes.

Hi Guys, I sent of a support ticket to Carenado regarding the text on the doors which I found to be upside down and back to front. It appears that this is correct and not an error the their side. They sent me a shot of what you see on a real aircraft. So this one is now solved.

Looks like some useful fixes:

HI: I keep having a problem on the G1000 with the autopilot not capturing and holding the glide slope during approaches. After entering the approach into the G1000 I usually also tune the Ils Freq into Nav 1. While flying with the gps on and in the nav mode. I will intercept the ILS and then using the cdi button I switch over to ILS 1 and get the ILS and GS indicators on the HSI. With the other Carenado planes using the xps530 when I intercept the Gs the alt hold function disengages and the approach mode flies the approach down the GS to 500ft when I then take over manually. However on the G1000 when I intercept the GS the alt function never disengages and I have to do it…

I planed a flight from Los Angeles (KLAX) to San Francisco (KLAX). I select the PROCedure page and input KSFO. It then shows San Francisco in its display window. I then scroll down the list to the APPROACH page. It is displaying NONE. I can not seem to be able to select anything in this field. I expected to see a selection of the runways, for example, I expected to be able to select ILS runway 28L. Why is this field marked as NONE? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Jim B.

HI: Can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn off the audible traffic warnings on the G1000 PFD while still showing the traffic symbols on the MFD? I can't seem to figure it out, and in high traffic areas it's very annoying.. Thanks... Al Skorich

Bonjour, I could see that the database used will expired, I think march 2014. I am flying most of time in the french sky in VFR mode using real IGN french maps and I could see that some VOR or NAV are not active INOPERATIVE Is there a solution to update this ? Thanks for reply

Hi folks, I've got a simmer friend who is almost "in love" with the G-1000, therefore he's looking for a G-1000 equipped a/c to start his home cockpit project. He needs to know, though, if Carenado published kinda SDK with documented memory offsets, so that all commands/functions can be assigned to knobs and buttons ... looks like FSUIPC macros alone proved to be unhelpful for this purpose. I'm looking to buy this, and I've been through the messages here and watched over a dozen videos, but something's wrong. 1. In these messages someone said it's the same engine as the RealAir Legacy. That can't be since the Legacy is non-Turbo. 2. In videos I've seen % power has already decreased to around 80% by 7500 feet or so (glimpses). This would be incorrect for a turbo. 3 I've also seen speeds around 10000ft with full power that shows only about 140 KIAS and around 170 KTAS. This would also be incorrect for a turbo airplane. The SR22T should do about 190 at 10k ft, and that at cruise power (e.g. since it's turbo, pulled back). This is definitely an FSX li…

Hi all Have just installed my new toy Carenado SR22 GTSX (include the Patch). I found out that the Rudder have (almost) no movement, although Pedals (in the Cockpit) having full movement. Yaw the Aircraft (inflight) with Rudder is impossible. I just wonder whether anybody alse have the same phenomena or its mine only. Your advise will be most welcome. Sam

Just dl'd the SP1 for the SR22 this morning on the way in to work. Knowing that Carenado are rather laconic re: documentation, can anyone here enumerate the changes it looks like they've made?

I'm wondering whether there's some sort of memory leak in the SR22 model, associated .dlls? Reason I ask is that if I start FSX at opening screen, select a config that should leave plenty of RAM for it, then just Change to the SR22 and leave it rotating at the opening screen for awhile, it goes gray/loses its textures? No other 3rd party high-quality planes I have do this, including the PMDG 737 NGX. ....?

Hey Guys.. In the owners manual for the SR22 it states that you can change the default start up values in the G1000_Config.XML file.. I found the file opened it and found the value I wanted to change.. ( Map Settings- L:G1000_MapOrientation, Want to go from North Up - 0 to Heading up -3 Can anyone one tell me how to change it to VALUE 3 to start up the MFD on Heading up instead of North up and ALWAYS having to change it on every flight? I enclosed a copy of the XML file in this post.! If anyone can modify it and post it back here that would be GREAT! Thanks in advance!!

Is there any way to do this, without strange terrain artifacts coming on the display? In my RW flying experience, it would be quite exceptional to fly with a "North Up" display, yet this G1000 is in that state by default.... Or is this one of the Avionics bugs that people refer to? Thanks for any help.
