	Suddenly my Carenado SR22T has an out of scale MFD in the VC. Pop-up is fine, but VC only shows the top left corner of the screen. The frame around it is fine but the electronic screen is magnified about 4X and only shows the top left quarter. Have looked in the panel.cfg file but cannot find anything obvious.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I am new to this plane...
</p>

<p>
	I try to start it via ctrl-E, via the shift-7 and via the Normal Procedures, but no luck.
</p>

<p>
	All I see is some smoke black and white and after a few moments the engine stops.<br />
	The mixture lever seems not to be functioning (saitek with SPADneXt), although with ctrl-E it it should come in the right position.
</p>

<p>
	The elevator isn't working either. All other control surfaces are ok.
</p>

<p>
	Anybody?
</p>

<p>
	Thx<br />
	Paul

<p>
	after watching "Flying with Rich" latest episode about the limited edition cirrus, he stating that this is the best selling general aviation airplane in the world. so I was happy to jump and try it out in the simulator. bad call
</p>

<p>
	I switched from A2A Comanche which is an awesome add-on albeit a little tasking in fogged in Alaska.
</p>

<p>
	this Carenado sr22 is a complete junk, it's full beta, simply not a release ready product.
</p>

<ul><li>
		The CDI in GPS mode does not work does not show
	</li>
	<li>
		the right screen stucks and does weird things all the time like buttons not working as 5 minutes ago or stuck in weather mode and unable to bring back the main map.
	</li>
	<li>
		alphabetical keyboard working or not. it depends
	</li>
	<li>
		AP speed hold mode completely off
	</li>
	<li>
		AP logic clearly buggy
	</li>
	<li>
		can't steer the airplane on the ground without braking The so-called immersive HD sounds have clear looping artifacts and all in all just very weak and lackluster.
	</li>
	<li>
		flight model is lame and arcade like.
	</li>
</ul><p>

</p>

<p>
	yet what I see is still sold on simmarket for 40 Euros, the latest version being 2020 or before.
</p>

<p>
	also some other Carenado products I tried are the phenoms, which aren't that bad, at least the g1000 works normally without the horrible navigraph add-on...so Coronado does have a limited but working g1000 addon.
</p>

<p>
	how is this possible, what's going on in the simulator addon market? why aren't these bugs corrected especially if they have a working code? why aren't they called out on this forum by the administrators? guys its 2022

<p>
	Hi Guys,
</p>

<p>
	when I started from cold and dark and turn on the left BAT- switch a beep appears, coming up in loudness and frequency until, let’s say to an 8 to 10 kHz tone, just as a rotating noisemaker.<br />
	If I switched it off again the beep goes down in frequency and loudness in the same behavior as it comes up.<br />
	I checked the cooling fan switch on the right side, but no effect.<br />
	This beep is even there when I started with running engine, and it dominates the engine sound significantly, which is very nervous to my ears.<br />
	Curious behavior is that it keeps staying even when I<br />
	- pause the simulator<br />
	- load another aircraft for around 20 sec during the new aircraft is already loading<br />
	Note that although all other sounds already stop immediately when I press the pause or aircraft button!
</p>

<p>
	You can hear it in the video <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCwQDpIFftA" rel="external nofollow">Carenado Cirrus SR22 GTSX Turbo HD review - X-Plane 11</a> at 11:10 min but only very quietly.But every aircraft sound in that video is rather quiet; I couldn’t really hear the engine sound.<br />
	You could better hear it in <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZ_TeiXglqo" rel="external nofollow">CARENADO SR22 GTSX TURBO | HP REVERB | X-PLANE 11</a> at 3:49 min onwards.
</p>

<p>
	This beep doesn’t seem to be real, does it?<br />
	Any idea where it comes from and how to get it rid of?<br />
	The software revision is SR22_GTSx_XP11_v1.2.
</p>

<p>
	Regards Gerhard

<p>
	SR22 v2.1 HSI/CDI Fix for SVS and Non-SVS
</p>

<p>
	This fix addresses the issues in this thread:
</p>
<iframe allowfullscreen="" data-embedcontent="" data-embedid="embed711716837" scrolling="no" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" style="height:219px;max-width:502px;" data-embed-src="https://dev.avsim.com/forums/topic/525421-sr22-w-synthetic-vision-gps-on-hsicdi-not-working/?do=embed"></iframe>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have included to separate versions of this "fix" depending on whether SVS will be used or not. Both are for version 2.1 of the Carenado SR22 GTSX Turbo.  If you do not own or use the SVS, use the non-svs version.  The reason is that the SVS has a bug that cannot be fixed without halving the frame rate of the SVS.
</p>

<p>
	The installation method that I am using does not overwrite any files and can be easily undone if needed.  If you do not want to edit any files, rename the panel folder from panel.fix to just panel and replace the files in your install directory.
</p>

<p>
	<br>
	Installation:
</p>

<p>
	1.  Copy the appropriate panel folder into your sr22 install folder (this may be different if you use the addon.xml method):
</p>

<p>
	...Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado SR22_GTSX_Turbo\
</p>

<p>
	2.  Edit your aircraft.cfg to activate the new panel.  Each livery has its own [flightsim.x] entry in the config.  Where it says panel= change the entry to panel=fix or panel=svs depending on which folder you copied.  You must do this for every livery that you wish to change.
</p>

		</p>
	</div>
</blockquote>

<p>
	<br>
	        <br>
	Note:<br>
	The SVS version will continually show the "LOADING" message on the inset map on the PFD.  This is a known bug and the fix I found kills the SVS.

	This panel fixes the out of sync PFD and replaces the MFD with the F1 GTN 750, and is for version 2.1 of the Carenado SR22 GTSX Turbo.
</p>

<p>
	For the MFD, the first soft key will toggle the trim/engine tab on the sidebar.  The second (from the left) activates direct-to on the GTN unit.  The right arrow button just below the Nav dial will open the 2D GTN.  The default MDD has been disabled as it causes major issues with the link to the PFD.
</p>

<div> </div>
<br><div>Finally finished! :lol:</div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>In the coming days, I will be uploading four new paint schemes for the Carenado SR22T. These represent the factory schemes available for the real 2012+ model year SR22T's with the Carbon appearance package. These FSX/Prepar3d versions are the culmination of a repaint process I've been working with on-and-off for over a year and, IMHO, offer a great "refresh" of the visual appeal of your Carenado Cirrus!</div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>Here are the paint schemes I've chosen to represent:</div>
<br><ul>
<li>N130MH - 2013 G5 SR22T GTS, carbon package, carbon gulf scheme (Sterling silver overall with Gulf blue. Black and carbon fiber accents)<br>
</li>
<li>N522PK - 2012 G3 SR22T GTS, carbon package, carbon Imperial scheme (Sterling silver overall with Imperial red. Black and carbon fiber accents)<br>
</li>
<li>N864JC - 2012 G3 SR22T GTS, carbon package, carbon+black scheme (Sterling silver overall with white. Black and carbon fiber accents)<br>
</li>
<li>N998DF - (Fictional) 2013 G5 SR22T GTS, carbon package, carbon+red scheme (Sterling silver overall with Imperial red. Black and carbon fiber accents)<br>
</li>
</ul>
<div>Additionally, the following visual upgrades have been added:</div>
<br><ul>
<li>Carbon black spinner<br>
</li>
<li>Carbon fiber instrument panel<br>
</li>
<li>FIKI (Flight into known icing) - TKS deicing panel texture upgrade<br>
</li>
<li>FIKI - dual prismatic ice lights (not functional)<br>
</li>
</ul>
<div> </div>
<br><div> </div>
<br><div>Note: Unfortunately, I had to make some concessions in working with the Carenado paint kit, or lack thereof, due to sheer complexity of the texture sheets. For instance, accent stripes along the side of the fuselage have been intentionally left off due to the complexity of trying to align these shapes across many differently oriented texture sheets. I chose not to spend time in this effort but I personally don't think it detracts from the end result and hope you will feel the same way.</div>

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I'm really confused about the Carenado SVS system and I’ve read in loads of places that its tricky to get working. We here’s what I’ve tried so if anyone could suggest something else that would be great, if not I’m not sure what my chances are for a refund from Just Flight.
</p>

<p>
	My test aircraft is the Cirrus SR22 v2.1 in P3D V.4 which I believe is SVS compatible. I know to push to softkey to get it working
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	1. Installed the SVS.exe straight away – failed to show in PFD
</p>

<p>
	2. Uninstalled SVS and SR22 - failed
</p>

<p>
	3. Installed SVS then SR22
</p>

<p>
	4. Tried SVS.exe in SR22 directory and that just reinstalled SVS - failed
</p>

<p>
	5. Opened TCP port 4444 in windows defender even though 4 SVS entries exist – failed
</p>

<p>
	6. Used the alternative WebSimSVS.dll from Carenado
</p>

<p>
	7. Used MakeRwys.exe and imported r5.bin
</p>

<p>
	8. Checked WebServer is in NVI to ensure it has priorities
</p>

<p>
	9. Checked the panel.cfg and XML files to make sure SVS entries are there – not changed anything.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The Carenado SVS icon appears in the system tray but all I get in the display of the SR22 is “TERR ERR” which I get if the SVS is on or not. Not sure how to clear this problem.
</p>

<p>
	I also don’t believe I have and GPU problem as I have 1070GTX with latest Nvidia drivers loaded.
</p>

<p>
	I’ve tried my TBM850 too and this doesn’t work either.
</p>

<p>
	I have read AVSIM for solutions and tried what I’ve found on there. Some people just seem to get it to work and others are still struggling. The instructions that come with the product seem to be out of date and have limited relevance to the install.
</p>

<p>
	Not turned to Carenado yet as I believe these forums have more knowledge than them
</p>

	On the SR22 v2.1 update with Synthetic Vision the gps is not showing on the HSI/CDI display correctly in the virtual cockpit (always points to 000).  The odd part is that it show properly in the 2d Panel view.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Edit: Actually there seems to be a complete disconnect between the left and right panels.  No flight plan or path is shown...<img alt="OfiT7P7.png" class="ipsImage" height="562" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" width="1000" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OfiT7P7.png"></p>

<p>
	Flying the SR22 &amp; SR20 in real life and flying this plane on the sim really offers the opportunity to keep my skills sharp to a point.
</p>

<p>
	I have submitted support tickets to Carenado to make subtle improvements to the airplane especially related to PFD/MFD functionality. Seeing the X-Aviation TBM 900(X-Plane) is such a wonderful representation of the Garmin. It would be great if Carenado would find some time to refresh this airplane - potentially to the G6 iteration.
</p>

<p>
	Do you agree?

<p>
	Firstly, the aircraft looks magnificent but I’ve encountered issues which I don’t know how to correct.
</p>

<p>
	The PFD of the G1000 is not communicating with the MFD or visversa. This is a nuisance as when you open the 2D panel of the PFD, all works properly. This issue is with or without SVS installed.
</p>

<p>
	The SR22 is meant to have a ceiling of 25000 ft with cruise speed of around 185kts. I’m lucky if it reaches 10000 ft with VS of +500 engines thrust set at 100% and struggling to maintain 130kts.
</p>

<p>
	It would be greatly appreciated if I could obtain some advise on how I can get these problems resolved. My other turbo props have no problems reaching Altitude ceiling and cruise speed. But for the G1000, is there a fix for this.
</p>

<p>
	I have FSX-SE installed and all installations and downloads were done with antivirus off.
</p>

<p>

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	Anyone experiencing the TER GER annunciation on the SR22 P3dV4.2
</p>

<p>
	I did see a mention for the C172 <a href="https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003010854-C172SP-SVS-TER-ERR" rel="external nofollow">https://carenado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003010854-C172SP-SVS-TER-ERR</a>. I could not find that gauges/Carenado_WebSimConnect folder so I am guessing the file structure is different.

	Hi folks
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone have any ideas on how to set up LINDA with the Carenado SR22 to use a knob on my throttle to toggle the fuel boost pump on and off? It's something I do natively in the real aircraft without looking at the switch so should be able to code a hardware button?
</p>

	Can someone share a new air file for the SR22?
</p>

<p>
	This is a beautiful airplane for p3d v4, but the FDs needs some tweaking.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks.

<p>I want to put the Mindstar G1000 in the SR22.  With RXP GNS530 I can simply replace the CAR GNS530 gauge with the RXP gauge.  Is this possible with this AC.  Off topic a bit but I want to do the same thing to the New C206 and C208 G1000 equip AC.  Again possible?  I assume if I can do it with one Carenado AC I should be able to do it with all of them...</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Thanks</p>
