FS2CREW: GENERAL FORUM

I am thinking about purchasing FS2Crew for the NGX when it comes out. I actually bought it for the original PMDG 738, but when after installing it all those windows got the best of me and I never used it. What i'd like to know is where can I go to read a good description of what FS2Crew does and how it does it? I know that the program has changed since I purchased it years ago, so I'm looking for a detailed description of the current program. My second question is what sort of fram rate impact does FS2Crew bring to the party? Thanks for the help!!Richard

Hi BrianI wonder if you can help... I am no longer able to activate the voice button on the control panel for any of the FS2Crew packages that I have. All was working the other day and now the first officer talks but I cannot answer.My OS is Windows 7 64 and speech recognition set to English US. I run the speech training ok so the mic is picking up...not aware of having done anything to the computer. I have reinstalled the Ifly FS2Crew voice on FS2004 but it still does not work, even after running the Ifly config again...the rest also don't work (Maddog, PMDG 747, Wilco 737, LVD 767). In the UK so initial computer language not a problem, an the headset is not new.Any thou…

Hello All!I have some concerns about FS2Crew: iFly 737NG Voice and Button Control Special Bundle Package, because on the website I read: Vista/Win 7 users: Voice Control version requires that your Windows Speech Recognizer be set to English - US.I have Win 7 Ultimate, but cannot change the Speach Recognizer to English.Does it mean that (unless I change to a new windows - which I don't want to...) Has anybody noticed that when flex takeoff is selected, the trim suddenly shifts to a high nose-up value. Is this a FS2CREW issue or something related to the Wilco/Feelthere side of things

HeyBryan I know your going to be super busy over the next couple of months with the NGX and whatever comes after it but I just saw some new screenshots for the coolsky dc-9 and the cockpit pics look like it's a really high quality panel and it should be a pretty in depth sim systems wise.What are your thoughts?Anyway thanks Bryan Lee

hi just had to buy a new computer as last one gave up.New one is much better spec than the last, But this time have Windows 7, I have just installed the FS2 crew for 737 PIC wilco, but have an issue i need help with.When i click on home tab i click for FS9 registry and every thing is fine, then i go to Panel CFG Manager, to sort out the activation of each 737 I click each model to add entry, but then go to flight sim, and FS2 crew doesn't work.I then go back to The FS2 panel into Panel CFG manager and the fs2 crew active column for each model goes back to "no"I have repeated these steps many times but keeps reseting back to "no"can anyone help solve this problem...than…

Hi Bryan,Now the NGX is out, It is the only plane I fly. Perhaps this is the case for a lot of people.Bearing this in mind, would it ever be an option to have a button and voice version together for those that can sometimes fly voice but not at certain times because of inconvenience, disturbance etc. Maybe it's not commercially an option for you, but thought I'd see. If you found a sweet spot for price it might sell.Cheers

Hi Bryan,I´m leaning towards buying the 747 Voice command version for FS9. I know that I therefore have to change the system language from German to English (won´t be a problem understanding it.). I´ve checked the vistalizator website but it seems that the have only MUI´s for windows 7 RTM version but I have upgraded to SP 1 as probably eveyone else did. Can I install it despite of the disagree of SP1 or should I go with the button version instead or as third do nothing and wait till an SP 1 version is released?

Hey BryanI was wondering if you might consider doing this for your upcoming releases. Could you put a FO in there seat so when you look over there,someones sitting in the seat. They dont have to move it might just be nice to have someone sitting next to you. And have like 3 differenet ones for each voice set maybe.Anyway just an ideathanks Lee

I have a home cockpit with a modified panel cfg for the pmdg 737ng fs2004, basically i run ath2go on threescreens displaying the outside view only And the pfd displays on my mip. Will voice comander work on my set up without messing with my panel cfg. Hope you understand what i mean. Thanks for your help steve

I tried to install the package today but the installer will not run. How can I make this work?

I have both the button and voice versions for the 767.The button version I've had ever since it came out. I got the voice version just recently.So here's the dumb question: Is it possible to have both versions installed and running?Or is it one or the other?I thought that having both installed would let me choose which version I'm in the mood for to use with the 767. Ok... I have a ridiculous question. Look at the main panel and looking at the checklist currently in place, what is the different between yellow and white checklists? Why I can't track that down, I am not sure. I see "+" = FO flow underway... but can't figure yellow vs. white. Ok, I have two questions - if the checklist doesn't advance, does that mean I am missing a step? I was stuck on "clean up" (yellow).. Thanks Benjamin.

Sorry Bryan if you have answered this question a thousand times, but I can only find the latest update from over a month ago. I realise while you do not wish to place a date on things or commit to anything, but how are things with the NGX FS2crew version? Is the SDK available? Is it one the horizon? Are you half way through development? Have you a release date? Sorry for the questions Bryan, but having had the Ifly version and realised what a fantastic addon it truly is, I can't wit to have someone else on board flying with me! Keep up the good work, it's appreciatd by all of us.

Hello Mr. York, Maybe they have already suggested this to you but have you consider an ATC addon to compliment you're great FS2Crew programs?. Man, that would be great!. With you're outstanding customer support and quality software I'm sure the FS community around the world will support you on this project. OK, here's my list in order of actual usage. This reflects which planes that are best to actually fly, and also which FS2Crew works best with, I think: Level D 767: old plane, a little ugle, but very solid. Beautiful FS2Crew implementation. Using this plane 70% of the time, always with FS2Crew. PMDG 747 400/800: best plane, FS2Crew implementation not as good. Using this 20% of the time (always with FS2Crew when I use it) Leonardo Maddog: The best FS2crew implementation, the only reason I fly this plane. Haven't really bonded with it. USing it 5% og the time. J41: The only one I fly using button control FS2CRew. Don't like it as much. Must try the voice version. USing it …
