Hello BryanJust a very long shot, but are there any plans afoot to bring out either a Voice Commander or a Button Edition for this fine FSX aircraft?I have taken a long break from flying your usual range of FS2Crewed-aircraft and am building logbook time on this aircraft, but aspired for a helping hand in the cockpit. So,how about it Bryan? You have managed to revolutionise every other aspect of multi-crew flying,so how about this aircraft?

I am able to move from preflight checklist, taxi checklist, take off checklist, however after take off checklist, I am unable to move further i.e. Rwy Entry Procedure and from there, fs2crew does not perform any voice command like grear up, flaps up... etc.

  10. Hi all, I have been using FS2Crew (voice) for more than a year now, and I have also been using Radar Contact 4. Unfortunately RC4 does not support voice, but I found a way to get FS2Crew and RC4 to work together using It's Your Plane (itsyourplane.com).Using this, I can "talk" to Radar Control and to FS2Crew without having them stumple over each others.I can say stuff like "Request taxi", "Missed approach", "Request higher" etc. The communication is not very realistic because it just matches the commands that RC4 has, but its more immersive that voice is used here, when you use voice with FS2Crew in my opinion.Anyway, if you are interested, I have written a document about…

I’m an IFR rated pilot with approximately 250 hours aspiring to be a commercial pilot. I purchased the PMDG j41 and FS2CREW voice commander to help teach me how airline crews actually operate. I’m having a little difficulty figuring out how to properly use the FS2Crew software. When the first officer preforms a “flow” does he do this from memory and then use a checklist to make sure it was done properly? I have no real life experience, but I thought the majority of items were read allowed by one crew member while the other preformed the actions. It seems that instead each member has to memorize small “flows” and then checklist that he performed each flow correctly. …

Hi Bryan,As a first time customer, I am very interested in your upcoming version of FS2Crew for the PMDG 737NGX.Yesterday, Angle of Attack announced that they will be receiving the PMDG NGX in the next day or two, allowing them to produce their training videos ahead of the release of the aircraft. Are you also being given similar access in order to develop FS2Crew prior to the NGX's release?Kind Regards,

  19. I should qualify the "noob" - I've been simming since the mid-80's, but I'm quite new to complex airliner sims and am contemplating my first FS2Crew purchase. My practical problem is this - I'm tempted by the voice editions, but my apartment is "open plan" and my FSX computer is in an office loft that's over the living room. My phone conversations in the office are audible throughout the apartment. I often sim late at night, after my wife had gone to bed. So... if I need to talk to the FS2Crew first officer using my phone voice (which is decently loud), that's not going to make me especially popular around here. If, on the other hand, I can "mutter" the instructions (o…

I plan on getting the new iFly737, and I would also like to get the FS2Crew Voice version for this aircraft, which leads me to a couple questions. I have a cheap future shop desktop Mic on a stand (not a headset) that I used when I flew online on Gamespy which seemed to work OK. 1. Can I assume this Mic should also work for FS2Crew? 2. Will the airplane noises coming through my speakers have a negative affect on how the Mic works with FS2Crew, or does the voice recognition sort of look past background airplane noise, so to speak? Will I have to turn my speakers right down to use my Mic?3. I read that I will need a program called SAPI (for Windows XP home edition). I was a…

  23. I did look through this forum and through the FAQ's on the FS2Crew website. I also watched the cool video. Again, please excuse the very basic question of what does this really do?Is this merely an audible checklist and as pilot I still need to flip the switches, turn the knobs etc? OrIs this an audible checklist and the virtual FO handles the switch flipping and knob turning? Is it neither? Is it both? Thank you in advance for assisting me again with what I know is a very basic question.Jerry
