FS2CREW: GENERAL FORUM

I'm sure this is more of a Windows 8 thing than FS2Crew, however the FS2Crew NGX (and NGX Emergency) add-ons are the only changes I have knowingly made to my system. I am loving the interaction with Fs2Crew with the NGX, and it works well- however my PMDG MD11 now doesn't load with a CTD. I'm not necessarily attributing this to the FS2Crew add-ons,just trying to fid a solution to my problem (I have also posted on the PMDG forums). AppCrashView reports the module with the error as PMDG_MD11_ACS.DLL. I don't know this .dll enough to understand what it does, etc.... Thanks, Bruce.

Does Fs2Crew compatible with P3D?

Hi There, Just thought I'd make my praise public for the current NGX FS2CREW and the Emergency NGX addons. As a first officer on the type for a particular 'loved' - or not - European airline of -800's, I understand the true requirement for 2-crew operation and in particular when the 'eek' moments arise. I must say FS2CREW have taken the NGX that much closer to reality and in particular with training method's and being able to practice scenarios just as we would in the sim. Very Well Done - the combination of the NGX and FS2CREW (Both packages) is probably as close as a 'desktop' simulator will get, incredible.

Hello, After purchasing the FS2Crew for the PMDG 737 NGX, I have purchased the FS2Crew for the PMDG MD-11. I have a problem assigning the correct joystickbuttons. In the Start Center I must assign Joystick Button numbers for the "green" and "red"buttons. However I use 3 "joysticks" (Saitek Evo, Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals, Saitek Pro Flight Quadrant). The FS2Crew setup for NGX works a bit different and I had no problems there. However for the MD-11 I must exactly know the button number and I have no clue how to do that. Ok so I got FS2CREW some time last week the default 737 version voice commander and since Ive had it I haven't been able to use the voice command thing I click the voice button it flickers then does nothing it I have uninstalled and installed it millions of times I have sp1 installed any suggestions?

Hello, I purchased Airbus X Extended a time ago, but, there was an problem with FS2Crew. Later I updated it, and no error appeared, but, when I load the Airbus X Extended plane, and I try to use pushback, etc., the text is gray and unclickable. But when I go to the "Addons" section in the inflight toolbar, RAAS appeares. I also updated the DLL.xml manually. Im running on Windows 8 and I use FSX and the Accleration pack, aswell as REX Essential Plus. I also googled it but any other solutions didnt work. :mellow: Help appreciated!

Hi there. After few days of using this software I found this as a great addon. At the moment the "button" version is installed on my "server" PC and I wondering if the "voice" version can be installed on my "client" PC because rest of my addons like AS2012, FSInn, ACARS, etc. is running on it. The network is established by router and wire with static IP'c and my question is that the FSCrew do work in this configuration? Best Regards Rob

Hello, I am using the button version of FS2CREW for the PMDG B737. The problem is when the copilot moves the switch from on to start......the apu does not engage. After a predetermined amount of time the apu gen switches are moved to on but is not connecting bus because apu never engaged. APU gen off bus light never comes on either. I have to hit the start switch again to make it work. Any suggestions? Already uninstalled and reinstalled etc etc. Win 7 64 i7 3770k 32gig ram fsx + accel Steve O

I love your work on the new PMDG 737 NGX :Peace: First I am not an owner of your products yet but reading reviews and seeing awesome videos on Youtube by Ronald C Griffin, I can say that your product brings FSX to reality. But only FSX? What about P3D? Do you support this simulator too? Because on future I will merge to P3D for performance reasons. As you know Aerosoft is doing and preparing the upcoming Airbus X Extended on all bugs are solved and new features against the first version. I have purchased today the new ngx emergency started the the download wich was downloading at 30kb per sec really slow a 4 hour download so I have so now done this a few times now all i get is a empty Zip file on every download and my downloads are running out Order #29819 is this only happening to me is somthing I am something I am doing wrong hope someone can assist trevor Smith

I bought it at PMDG and they wrote the following to me: "You will actually have to get in touch with Brian at FS2Crew directly in order to update as we do not offer the updated version on our website. I recently purchased FS2crew bundle for iFly 737 NG and have downloaded both Voice and Button Control (now twice). So far I have had some luck with the button version ie; the BR flight briefing works in departure and approach modes; FA call button works, have ordered drinks, warned of delays, etc.( but have not heard the delivery of food); The PA works fine for all messages; VM panel OK; CFG no problems but not sure how the AES, doors, gate arr and dep are supposed to work,;LK, LT, vol, cab, all OK. However, the left side Preflight Checklist, Start Engine 1, Takeoff, etc.?? Nothing happens. I thought that there was going to be the captain and FO discussing the check…

Hi everyone, I used to follow the steps in the manual and get my de-ice procedures going without problems, but now they won't work, and I cannot figure out why. I simply cannot get it started, no matter what I try. I do have the latest voice control version installed. Is anyone else experiencing this or can anyone give me some guidance please? Kind regards

Good morning gentlemen, The upcoming 777 release looks like it will be with us before the end of the year and we are going to revamp the FS2Crew product with new features and completely new voice sets. We are looking for a dozen or so individuals to cover the aspect of the product from Captain down to Cabin Crew and Ground engineers for at least three geographical regions: European British American Ideally the Captain and First Officer positions would be covered by flight crew in the real world [Again, Preferably 777 rated]. Hello Bryan, I was wondering if you might consider making a Voice Command FS2Crew for the Ramzzee's Boeing 777 Worldliner Professional for X-Plane 10 - 64bit. I am starting to get hooked on 64bit and this Boeing 777 is extremely good, even to FSX standards. Hi Guys, This is doing my head in. I know everything works ok as i had it working before. I am using a headshet with mic, JS41 Voice product and onboard audio. Does anyone have any rsason why the mic volume is so low. I have updated the drivers, ran win update (win 7 64) and updated the software. I have checked the volume as well and that is fully up. Has anymore had this problem before?

Hi, I am currently using the PMDG 737NGX on FSX, displayed on a Triplehead2go at a resolution of 5760x1080 (i.e 1920x1080 x3) in full screen mode. I would like to buy FS2Crew, but my question is, will the 'control panel' display correctly at this resolution? By control panel, I mean the interface in FS2Crew ( sorry I don't know the correct term within the product yet) Many thanks

Hi Byork I and a few others had been on the Majestic forums a while ago requesting they talk to FS2Crew. Just wondering is it going to happen or still uncertain? This would be an instant buy for me. I have the following problem ... updates are all installed and it runs everything super ... but when I start the gines, they run 2 times high. it runs fine for a few seconds then go back down and then start again? Afterwards, the two engines are running normally. what can be the problem here? greeting Stephan

I suspect like some others here, I have the Airbus X Extended, and am loving the FO doing some of the checklist items (most of them) abd calling out checklists. I also don't like voice-recognition as it's just not practical in my environment for me to talking at my computer. If I was to get FS2Crew (Button version, so no voice recognition), how similar would that be for - say the NGX or similar aircraft - to what I am seeing/hearing/experiencing now in the AXE? Is it possible to retrieve a saved flight in the NGX or similar a/c and also resume the FS2Crew session? Thanks, Bruce.
