FS2CREW: GENERAL FORUM

I have System Mechanic (SM) installed and have experienced the same problem as Lon Duncombe (“Lon David”) described in his 5/7/12 posting (FS2Crew voice recognition stops working). When the problem occurs, and it has occurred many times, I can normally "recover" from SM's "disabling" of FS2Crew's voice recognition by running Safety Net. Safety Net, a feature of SM, allows you to undo selected SM "registry optimizations". If that doesn't work, I try a System Restore. Only once have I done a Windows re-install to resolve the issue. While the Windows re-install did fix the problem SM apparently created with FS2Crew, and as much as I love FS2Crew, I will never again do a Win…

Hi guys, First of all, sorry for my bad English, i'm writing from France. I've just bought FS2Crew bundle pack for 737+emergency addon, and I spent the evening trying to make the soft work but I cant find where i fail. I installed the soft, then i Installed the SP1c for 737 (800/900 600/700) Then i chose Button version and activated it. I chose the 2D as default option and took an other plane. In game, i select PMDG 737. Then Virtual Cockpit. And i have nothing, no FS2Crew panel, and the "invisible" button to activate it near the fire alarm button, doesnt work, i have nothing to press on this zone. Can you tell me what i missed ? Hi, I´ve installed the FS2crew Voice to PREPAR3D using the FSX to Prepar3D Migration Tool, except the PMDG 737 NGX, FS2Crew does not work with the IFLY 737 and Leonardo Maddog. I haven´t tested with the LevelD 767, PMDG B747 and PMDG J41 yet. Are you planning to make FS2Crew fully compatible with Prepar3D? Thanks in advance. Frank

Hallo dear community i have a problem with my FS2 Crew and precisely when i decide to fly with FS 2 crew the FO follows all the instructions but when i takeoff he isn´t able to activate the autopilot but i activate LNAV and VNAV without problem. The next problem is that when i decide to fly without FS2 Crew i can activate VNAV and LNAV but the autopilot didn´t react.What can i do to solve this problem. Thank you for your help in advance. When I initiate pushback it does not stop at the apropriate pushback distance. Pushback continues in a "U" going right through the terminal. Has anyone any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? AllanR

Hi. I know I am doing something wrong but not sure what? When doing autoland about 200ft from touchdown the autopilot disconnects. Maybe that's what is meant to happen but has only done this since I installed FS2 crew. Can someone please help!!!

Hi I have fsx on win7 64 fs2crew for 737ngx head i use is MS Lifechat lx-6000, this headset works fine in fsx, windows and teamspeak for ivao comms. I have set in the cfg audio setup my head set for the headset audio device I also have the HS button enabled Fs2crew still does not route any audio via the headset, all fs2crew audio is routed via my main speakers which is via a SB card, i also hae no onboard audio. I have tried everything can think of but just cant get fs2crew to use headset audio, can you guys advise me how i can do this? Thanks John

Hi guys, i have tried to find the answer to my problem but to no avail, i only have the click spot to the config and main panel available in the 2d cockpit and not the VC it was working ok in 2.2 but not 2.3 any ideas...............................

Hi, im having problems with connecting to ground from the cockpit, i have 2.3(not emergency) and have everything set up correctly(well,kind off) ie overhead service phone off and flt mic selector set up on pilots side im using the correct command"cockpit to ground" it comes up in the green bar put no response,however if i use the command"ground from cockpit he says go ahead.............. any ideas?? regards

I was wondering if you had any plans for adding this aircraft to your list. I don't know if it has a SDK available or not.

Hi, I was wondering if its possable to add more voice commands for the iFly? I have a few ideas. Keep in mind all the voice commands can be answered with "check", so please consider And thanks for Listening to my suggestions. 1: Preflight check, When the pilot says "fuel", Right now the response "checked"But in the default B737 We had to say fuel amount and then "pump on". And when he passed for takeoff speeds You had to say V1 then speed, VR then speed and speed for V2, I like to see that in the ifly. 2: During the takeoff roll, I think this is voice command for "Takeoff power set" and "Airspeed alive". Hi Bryan, I am an avid fan of FS2Crew, in-fact have just started re-flying the Jetstream with FS2Crew for fun, however one thing has come to mind. I am not a real life airline pilot but I am guessing that crews are not always the same on every flight. I always use the button version because my pc is in the living room and my wife doesn't like me talking to the computer for a few hours, especially when she's watching TV, so I always use the UK voices, but it is always the same co-pilot. What would be nice is to be able to fly with one of the other co-pilots. Maybe an option switch in the config or better still a random co-pilot. So I could be the UK pilot and fly w…

Hi Bryan, I hope that I am not talking out of place. Although I have yet to purchase a voice-based version, and therefore don't have access to the installation processes, it seems that some are having problems with voice navigation with the software. Perhaps a simple test procedure or improvement on existing would enable users to ensure they can use the product basics more easily?

can anyone direct me to the correct link for setting up the sound on computor,fsx and headset. I can only get firs officer out of main speakers. If I alter anything the best I can get is first officer and sound through main speakers. Headst I can get fsx sound only.Thanks.

With the insrurment check. I just wondered why the F/O just dosen't understand the headiing check, but he does understand the altimeter setting. For example. ME: HEADING TWO SEVEN ZERO pause Altimeter 1018 F/0 HEADING ZERO SIX ZERO pause Altimeter 1018 I tried this a few times, with the same results, by going back in the check list?

Hi Bryan, When I open the main FS2Crew forums page, I have a list of many sub-forums that I never access. Could the presentation be simplified by inserting a new level of sub-forum for each simulator such that, for instance, a flyer of the PMDG software would only see the chosen PMDG-related sub-forums, and others would see only their chosen forums?
