FS2CREW: GENERAL FORUM

I got a message saying that my RAAS Professional is out of date, and I have the option to update it. As you all probably know, you are directed to a website and...I have two options, and it seems like I can only choose one, based on the language they use. I have both aerosoft and PMDG add-ons that use RAAS and I need to know how I can go about updating this. Thank you.

This is more a general request than version specific, but more relevant for the smaller aircraft. Could we in future versions maybe adjust when the cabin crew start their security briefing? I fly a lot in Norway, and most of our airports are small and have very limited taxi time. So when I use FS2Crew I end up having to wait for the cabin. In the real world they solve this by starting the security briefing soon after doors closing, so that they are about done with everything by the time the aircraft is ready to taxi.

I have the PMDG 777 and with that aircraft I have FS2Crew Captain's Set. I now have purchased the PMDG 737 NGX for the FSX deluxe edition (and FSX Acceleration ). and I see that to have FS2Crew for this aircraft I should purchase the relatively new FS2Crew NGX Reboot which I believe is at version 2.0 As I will be installing both these products is there any procedure regarding installation I should know about e.g. install NGX 737 first then FS2Crew. I noticed in the review of this product, the reviewer reversed this, as he already had an old version of FS2Crew (Legacy version?) So I presume it would be correct with fresh installs to have aircraft first then FS2Crew. Fin…

Hi! Being quite new to FS2Crew Reboot (and to PMDG B373 NGX for that matter) I am not as quick on doing my flows as the FS2Crew seems to be designed to. As an example - just an example - on the SOP SET 1, at +22 minutes the FO starts his walk around and I as the Captain starts to perform the CDU pre-flight things. Now this takes quite a lot of time for me to do and the FO has since long time returned and are doing his flows and the minutes are running and I so to speek get out of sync with the timely setup i FS2Crew. What I miss is some kind of a "Pause" function (button or voice command) that simply "stops the clock" in FS2Crew. I have searched for that sort of fu…

I'm trying to buy FS2Crew Dash8 bundle but the website plays some tricks on me. I log-in, add the product to the cart, press checkout and then I get stuck in the billing details form. I enter the details in the form (although I am logged in), there's only one button on this form, 'Bill to this address' and if I press that, the form turns blank and that's it. Hello, I think I already raised this issue in the past with T777, but now, after the several tests, I can fully confirm that for some reasons the approach FO procedures are "dead" when I continue a flight from saved scenarios. The statement is valid for both NGX and T7 FS2Crew button products. Unfortunately, I MUST save the flight situations before TOD to avoid OOM, especially on long hauls. Here is what happens (either NGX and T7) when I resume the route at almost TOD from a saved situation. 1. Reload a flight 2. Dial FS2Crew (either one) procedures toward to Descend Checklist. 3. I've always used the button versions but think I might switch over to voice. I'm sure this is a simple question, but what do you use when using FS2Crew with voice? I'm not too keen on wearing a headset. What are the alternatives to a headset?

Hi, is there a way to backup all CFG options for 777 version or NGX Reboot version before reinstall system, to simply copy them after reinstallation of Windows and FS2Crew? Lucas

First I must say that all the FS2crew products are outstanding. I am only having one real problem and that is the heading during checklists. For example in my preflight checklist in my 737 reboot and 777 when I say the heading it is completely wrong. I said heading 240 and altimeter 29.91. It of course read back the altimeter correctly but said heading 160 or 350 as 145. They don't sound anything alike. Is there an issue with this and a fix? I am trying to record a video to share with my friends and it sound funny when I say heading 350 and the FO replies back 145. Thank you.

Howdy, ever since i updated my fs2crew program. I can no longer bring up the fscrew bar inside aircraft I had it set to the autofeather as suggested in the man. and all was working now it does not work. i reassigned the key for launch and nothing even talking into the speech processor nothing. i am using it with pmdg 777-200 Any help would be great thanks in advance, Doug

To the team at Fs2crew, I thank you for your NGX reboot and Q400 bundle. versions. I exclusively use the button versions for both and they provide endless enjoyment and add to the realism of each flight. Having finished with the accolades I would like you to consider the following suggestion. Can you make the interface (main gauge that shows checklist countdown and flow) more of a VC instrument inclusion rather than a rectangle that, although can be moved around and resized, just looks out of place. I have tried to decrease the size to fit within an existing VC instrument on the NGX and Q400, but with this, sharpness and definition is lost and when I pan the camera views…

Hi Bryan, I haven't installed it, yet, but I heard that the Prepar3D 3.2 update, just released, causes some issues with dll based addons. Do you know if this will have an influence on FS2Crew? Thanks.

I am about to study the FS2Crew.The screen shot included shows the speech recognition in the Control Panel of Windows 7. However I don/t find it as indicated. Any idea what not ? Thank you Herbert Werni

Good evening Gents I am trying to find out if the default 737 voice edition will work with Flight Deck Solutions sim Avionics? Sim Avionics aircraft model is the default 737, just configured to run specifically with a high end avionics suit. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Regards Damian

I have FS2Crew for both the PMDG 737 NGX and the 777. I initially installed for P3d since that is all I had running. I've expanded the system and now have FSX installed on a different drive. I have compared the panel.cfg between the NGX for P3d and FSX and added the entries for FS2Crew in the FSX version. They were identical other wise. I also mapped the autofeather key in the FSX NGX as specified in the Main Ops Manual. Unfortunately, I still can't get it to work in FSX although it still works in P3D. So, is it possible for the same FS2Crew installation to work for both FSX and P3D? If so, what step am I missing. Or, do I need to do a separate installation …

Hi guys, Bryan, I am having an issue which seems to be rather odd. I have been running FS2Crew with the NGX for a few years now without any problems whatsoever, but last week I got my hands on a PFC Yoke, which incidentally is awesome. It's a used yoke, but in lovely condition. Anyway, I am currently reassigning all my buttons for each of my aircraft, most of the time with no problems. However, I have run into an issue when trying to assign the main and secondary buttons with FS2 Crew in the NGX. Hi: Let me start by saying I am very impressed with FS2Crew. im using the default 737 voice program. I have it installed in my flight simulator and also on another computer that I use to check out programs before I enter them into the simulator. I run windows 7-64 and FSX along with a few other programs that enhance FSX. One of them is Enviro. I have added chatter files and a couple of flight attendant announcements. I noticed that when the FS2Crew flight attendant would do her safety speech just before taxi, another FA voice would start speaking simultaneously. Somehow, FS2Crew either triggered that other voice or picked it up and played it at the same time so both FA's…
