Chubut - Patagonia Chubut is a province in southern Argentina, situated between the 42nd parallel and the 46th parallel south, with the Andes range to the west, and the Atlantic ocean to the east. We depart from Comodoro Rivadavia (SAVC) on the Atlantic coast and the largest city south of the 45th parallel and home to the National University of Patagonia and proceed westward. US Air Mail CAM 5 (Boise KBOI to Pasco KPSC) For May 17, 2023 Michael MacKuen Today we revisit the early days of flying the US Mail. We re-enact part of Contract Air Mail Route 5 (that is, CAM 5). This route connected Salt Lake City (and the mainline transcontinental US Air Mail route) with Pasco (and the main railroad connections to the Pacific Northwest). The US Commerce Department awarded these early mail routes to private airlines in order to fund the rise of commercial aviation. Lusitania Lusitania was an ancient Iberian Roman province comprising part of modern Portugal (south of the Douro River) and a large portion of western Spain (the present Extremadura and Province of Salamanca). Romans named the region after the Lusitanians, an Indo-European tribe inhabiting the lands. The route starts in Cordoba (LEBA) with a brief circuit of the city, taking in the Mosque and Roman Bridge, before proceeding to Savile’s San Pablo (LEZL). South American Cargo Today’s flight departs from Cuenca (SECU) , the capital and largest city of the Azuay Province of Ecuador. Cuenca is located in the highlands of Ecuador at 8,400 feet above sea level. The center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its many historical buildings. Welcome to Part III of our Journey around the North Sea. We continue from Conningsby (EGXC). It is a Main Operating Base of the RAF and home to three front-line Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 units. Through The Pass Today's flight will be over the High passes of the Himalayas in P38s. This flight is 342 miles with 10 stops. This flight will be challenging as most of the airports are at very high altitude and with only 1800' or less runways. Your approach speed will be the difference of success or failure and dive flaps are your friends, so be careful. Most all of this flight is at High altitude so if you are not flying the P38 choose carefully. We will want to go about 250 mh. There are 5 airport scenery's that need to be Downloaded.
