The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

It's rare to find me posting screenshots on this forum, but I'm getting back into FSX and the whole flying thing so I decided to share some shots today from my early morn' ga flight. Flew from the Vagar Airport (EKVG) which is part of the Faroe Islands. The scenery there is really beautiful, I recommend that anyone that takes that flies out of there to take a quick look @ the scenery. Flew the Lancair IV-P on this flight =D Sun rises as I fly over the Atlantic. On the second leg of the flight, still got a little bit to go before I see land!A little cloudy, but nothing out of the norm. FP is IFR anyway!Plane cruising doing 280 KTS groundspeed easily with 72% power! IAS i…

  3. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard one of the longest routes ever seen! LH 453 A B C LH 453A (EDDF-KLAX) A late departure and a westbound flight, can it get any better? Ride along with the sun as you make your way though what seems to be an infinite sunset. LH 453B (KLAX-PHNL) A late afternoon departure and a sunset landing into Honolulu. Just in time for you to watch the sunset from the beach! LH 453C (PHNL-YSSY) The final leg, now everyone pretty much doesn't care about the views anymore, after a nea…

This is my second batch of screens....criticism more than welcome. The airplane is really nice. The FDE needs a tad bit of tuning and there are some mods out there that do a pretty good job of making the aircraft feel like the real thing.

Hi all. I had to share this with you. For a few days ago, i did this flight, YBBN-YMML with my new NGX. What a positive experience for me. To test ORBX and PMDG together with with FEX and ASE, and with autogen on Very Dense and mesh resolution on 5m....!!! For info, i have no traffic installed. I let pictures speak for themselves without any comments from me. Hope you enjoyed it. Thank's for now.

Here is a quick demo of the FSAltitude package for Australia installed over FTXAustralia SP4. On the last screenshot you can see how the FTX terrain textures show under the aircraft. I will test some Simsavvy stuff and compare the two products. 16. A lot of people with less than new or ideal hardware are wondering what type of FPS you can get with the NGX, so thought I would put together some shots with the FPS counter showing to give an idea.I left the HUD down just for the fact that it might cost 1 or 2 FPS more. Most of the way around the airport in VC or external view I was able to maintain 25 FPS or better regardless of weather conditions which is pretty good for that area with a plane that draws on a lot of resources and the fact that I dont have many. Also, these pics are solely for the purpose to get an idea of FPS and not as a display of piloting ability, meaning the approaches weren't perfect, speed and fl…

Enjoy this latest FSX video by me using the superb Guernsey scenery from Earth Simulations and the Harrier Jump Jet from Wilco. Best watched at 1080p and full screen, please feel free to vote on my video in my youtube channel or leave a comment. Here are some screen shots from the video in case you cannot view it or unable to load at 1080p. btw these shots were not taking directly from FSX but from the post processed video, hence it is not as sharp or clear as my usual shots due to the compression of the video. Thank you for your time in viewing this post, I hope you enjoy the view though.
