The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This girl is a bit special to me. As you will see in my signature, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer. I did my volunteer service in Fiji from 1/1977 to 5/79. So this Air Pacific Queen - Fiji brings back some memories. However, Air Pacific did not own 747's while I was there that I recall, or at least I never saw one. Fiji Air owned Norman Islanders, which I was fortunate to get more than a few hours in the right seat of. The only Air Pacific flight I ever took was from Nadi to Nukalofa, Tonga and that was a 737. Anyway, enough rambling... This flight was flown today and is from Honolulu to Los Angelas. A classic route from PHNL to KLAX was flown. That is, the flight crosses o…

Hi! Thought I'd try to upload a few pics I took flying the FsX Hawaii checkout mission from Molokai to Maui. It's a really nice mission and flies between two of the more interesting and remote places in Hawaii. Anyway on with the pics! Many thanks for looking, Pierre

A couple of shots from my flight today from LFLB to EGNT. The flight was very smooth and my FPS seems to be stable now. I use an external Limiter and found setting it to 55 works best for me. I use ASE, UTX Europe, REX 2....JET2 livery is amazing Btw!

Great flight in the best plane ever. Great scenery by Flytampa too,Everyone should buy both. This was just an amazing aircraft to fly & the FPS was awesome even landing at LGAV which is insanely detailed. So happy with the way FSX is going. PMDG & Flytampa make it the best sim.

From VB crossing the coast, she turns due south for Okracoke Island, North Carolina and climbs to 14,000 MSL. At approimately 60 miles from Oakracoke, she descends to 2,500' MSL. Task is to fly past Oakracoke in order to inspect the island and effects of Irene. Hope you enjoy the shots: Departing KCHO and a hint of things to come. Bound for Richmond seen from the office. This the PMDG 747-8i in the Saudi livery. For some reason, this livery really is one of my favorites. With Tripoli so prominently in the news recently, I thought I would do a flight from there to Nice, France. Though I have never been to Triipoli, I have been to Nice a couple of times. Nice place. You'll see my specs below. However, some other things about these shots; REX is in use, as is Nvidia's Inspector. I have also executed FS via a BAT file that starts the external frame rate limiter (20). Internal frame is set to unlimited.
