The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Dusting off the old paint brushes I thought I would start with an easy one to ease myself back. Seeing an Air Canada "Express" Q400 live for the first time, I thought the CRJ would look sharp in this new livery. Eventually, the long standing Air Canada Jazz brand and unique livery will be replaced with this "updated" livery which from what I read, was a pretty silly move on Air Canada's part.Other than some minor tweaks and the night textures to finish up, it looks like she'll be uploaded to the library in the next couple of days.Enjoy the shots and if anything looks out of place, please let me know!

Seeing those lovely shots from Rise of Flight posted by Comanche made me want to share one of mine with you. This is made from two screenshots from ROF that have been cut out in Photoshop then blended into a new background. The final stage is to set the lighting and I went for the warm colours of a summers evening, the original background was rather flat and grey. Reduced in size quite a lot for posting. The original is in my gallery on my site.

DCS A10 after the last patch which added new features and update a few old ones. Im having a lot of fun with it now, although I have to admit, I was very frustrated with it when I first got it. Big learning curve to overcome.Rob

This is not a Screen Shot in the true sense of the word, so apologies if I am breaking some sort of rule.However...A good friend who flies A320's for BMI will send a shot like the enclosed saying ' Where I am ' ? 9 times out of 10 I get it right, but on this occasion he has stumped me. So if any of you ( and I know what a good bunch of chaps you are) could help me, it would be much appreciated. The only clue I have is that it is somewhere in Europe or possibly Middle East. I thought it might be Beruit but can't be sure. Many thanksTristan

In the Air once again...x3!As in three airlines flying the NG...Sorry for my lack of comments or postings during the past four to five weeks but my system suffered from a hard-drive failure. Since I had to buy a replacement drive, I have noticed the price of hard-drives had increased in the matter of days, my new 1TB drive doubled in price within two days ($69.99 to $139.99 US) due to the flooding in Thailand. Wow, glade I bought it at the lower price!Boston, MA Area...... Las Vegas, NV Area... San Francisco, CA.... Hopefully you liked these screen-shots, please make a comment or two...Darryl

I've been making screenshots for a while now and have posted them on a few sites.I was exchanging emails with Tom about joining the partnership scheme or getting a review for my website and he kindly said that I could post something about my site in the hangar chat forum. We are a free site that runs just for people who like taking screenshots. It's our passion I guess and it add a whole new area to my enjoyment of Flight simming. I don't want this to turn into a promotion for the site so I will say no more and post a few of my pictures. If you would like to visit us and say Hi we're at www.screenshotworld.com we always welcome anyone who shares our enjoyment of screens…
