The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Liam R's Blenheim pics posted a couple of weeks ago prompted me to dig this plane out of my archive. The quality of some of the screenies posted here make these look rather dowdy but I had fun making them. It's Dave Garwood's Avro Anson Mk1, No. 5 Air Observer School for FS9, with additional lights and gauges, along with:Italy Photoreal scenery series by Fulvio MazzokanPablo Diaz' High Definition Environment v. 2 (just the clouds, sky colour and reflections)FS Metar (WX for 2011 July 26 00:00Z) with registered FSUIPCWith apologies to Dave Booker and Saverio Maurri, who made the original panel and gauges. I've modified things quite heavily to make a plane for use in Air Hau…

Zdravo and Hello!Today I took my good olde PSS Dash 8 on a short flight from LOWW Vienna into LQSA Sarajevo, Bosnia. Given today´s marginal weather, the approach to rwy 12 with its circle to land amidst the high mountains surrounding Sarajevo is somewhat challenging.Regaards from Graz,Werner

Thought I'd try a long haul to see if I remembered how to do it. Even remembered how to grab the latest NATs to fly a little more realistically. Also thought I'd make Darryl happy and fly the 777 (I really like the 777 too). This time in BA colors...Took her from Atlanta to Heathrow. In the air, just got her all cleaned up.Approaching WOMAC, heading out of KATL, on my way.Safely over the pond, on approachA shot from the other side (good looking ship she is)Next 2 shots from the spotter on the ground just off the approach.Touchdown!Whoa big girl! Let's slow down.At the gate, all safe and sound.May hop around Europe for a bit...maybe try some Airbuses, need to remember h…

Used 1999 model. Finishing up a few details, but it's getting late and thunderstorms are approaching, so it will probably be tomorrow before it's submitted to avsim. I found a very detailed ad from when the actual plane was for sale, so I was able to get most of the panel options right. And yes, I found a color mix for "matterhorn white". http://www.aviationb...568&comp=254820Here are my screen caps. I'll post a link when it's up.

The real shot is from a captured pre digital video I took about 10 years ago so it has the worst quality-lol (actual video on youtube under geofa lake almanor). This is xplane 9 default and fsx with a ton of add ons...looking forward to xplane 10! Personally I find the colors of the scenery of xplane much more realistic but the cockpit of fsx superior. The landing, takeoff and general feel once in the air of xplane much superior to fsx-but flying by the numbers much more superior on fsx. The sounds of xplane (including a correct sound change for rpm-something fsx has never quite done right) great-but the stereo sounds rendition of fsx better. The cockpit of xplane not as c…

Hehe. Turns out that although its not like riding a bike, you do remember a few things after not flying for ages...at least I got her airborne. This is one of my favorite planes I painted..on the mighty LDS 767!But this one is my all-time favorite, Ed Cox's Posky 767 textures he graciously let me apply to the LDS 767.Regards,Steve Dra

Hi guys,I had allways been an warbird fan. Some time ago I found the famouse IL-2 1946 in the bargain bucket at my local hardware retailer. So I got it for less than 5 $. It tourned out to be an ablsotuely addictive game with deccent grafics (was used to CFS1 grafics back then!) and I played it a lot. Then, my new system and FSX came, I it was left aside......Till Saturday! This day I found an freeware mod/addon for it, which changed all: Ultrapack 3. This 6 Gb download tourned IL-2 into and better game than it ever was. New effects, an overall improoved gameplay and the best of all, awesome reditions of some very cool jets. The well known and best of them is, the title s…
