The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

One of the interesting things about photoreal scenery (MSE in this case) is the things you happen to see when looking down. Flight1 King Air at FL210, Active Sky 2012 SP2, as mentioned MegaSceneryEarth Pennsylvania. The Seneca Pumped Storage Generating Facility pictured.

  5. Recently purchased a national geographic with 100 places you need to visit in your lifetime. Thought I would do something fun and fly to each one and my second stop along the journey is titled "the road less travelled" and this features the North Umpqua River up to Crater Lake in Oregon. The scenery was gorgeous and it is truly a road less travelled. Enjoy Our journey begins on the south side of Crater Lake on a gorgeous evening as we head west we are met with a lush forest and a gorgeous sunset finally our plane settles at Prospect State (64S) for the night

All good things eventually come to an end. The PMDG MD1-1 was state-of-the-art when it was released in 2008, and still today holds up pretty well. However, with the pending release of the PMDG 777X I really don't know when i will fly my lovely MD-11F again. These newer PMDG releases (NGX/777X) are just in a different league compared to their MD-11. I only have good memories the "11", after some 300 flights with her since I purchased it. The Autoflight is probably one of the most clever and underrated there is... So here are some images of what might be my last long haul with the PMDG MD-11 for a very long time. Tokyo Narita Intl. to Stockholm Arlanda (RJAA - ESSA). …

This plane is a game changer! (Or should I say simulation changer? hehe) Between painting and learning enough about her to take her past familiarization flights, I felt confident enough to try a short run from KSEA to KLAS. Caught the strobe going off in the pic...very cool. This plane has so many nice little touches that it'll take weeks to find them all! The wing flex is phenomenal as shown in this pic... Regards, Steve Dra

Completed my first 777 leg with Aerologic ORD-LAX. Here are a few quick shots I took, so I figured I'd share! You can click them to enlarge. Here you can also see the red vehicle lights that have been added in the latest FTX Global patch, as well as the bigger and brighter street lights. Hope you enjoyed!

  18. Hello friends, I have returned to mimic some more of my vacation flights in India. This time, it's August 12th, 2013 and time to leave Bangalore to visit some family in Mumbai for 3 days. I will be boarding Jet Airways flight 412 for a short 1 hour 24 minute trip to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (VABB). This is also my first flight using the new PFPX-Professional Flight Planner X, and it was a thrill to have professional looking dispatch paperwork to assist me in my flight preparation. Weather was basically the same in both locations, with low visibility and clouds. Route is OLREB1 OPAMO BBI MINIT AGELA MOLGO1A. A slight tailwind is expec…

Still absolutely loving this bird, can't believe I didn't pick it up sooner. Not quite up there with the NGX of course but still very enjoyable and for now at least, the best thing for Airbus fans.
