The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This was my first proper flight that I have completed without crashing. Though at Dulles, on my taxi from the runway to my gate, then FS crashed. But I was happy enough that I got to at least land ^_^ Great sounding GE90 startup, thanks Armen! Yes I know AC don't do this route in the RW I'm not even gonna try and say that "this is a gorgeous sunset!" It's not, it's completely unrealistic! LOL  No need for a CATIII ILS, but I haven't done one in the 777x yet. Love them landing lights! Thanks for viewing. I would like your opinion if possible. Have a good day ^_^

Over my career, I have literally hundreds of hours as a passenger on various T7 flights. Mostly UAL, but others as well. One of my biggest disappointments was when, for the most part, 747's were removed from the trans Atlantic legs in favor of the T7. That was my initial reaction. After flying a couple of R/T's with UAL to EGLL, EDFF and other European locations, I got to love the beast. Rob and guys captured the "feel" of the T7 from my perspective and I have spent most of my free time trying to gain some hours in her. Here are shots from the last day or two. FEDEX departing Nice, France bound for EGKK Over the southern mountains Rich's tremendous AA li…

  16. I want to start off with a big thank you to airdailyx, iflysimx and taxi2gate for their awesome giveaway, conducted yesterday on iflysimx's twitchtv channel, two copies of MMMX Extreme (V3) were given away during the stream, and I was lucky to get one! I finally got to mess around with it today.. well, just couple of quick checks and I'm astounded by the amazing looks and more importantly, the silky smooth fps. Of course with scenery sliders set to max, on my stock 2500k. Here's a quick shot (will upload more later):

"A Romantic Journey On The Coral Route" As the pictures from the PMDG 777 screen shot competition are not showing on the front page, I thought I would post here. I hope you don't mind Dennis. Posted on front page: I would like to thank Avsim, and the judges for picking the "Coral Route". tI was a great surprise when I turned my computer on just a few minutes ago, and received an e mail to inform me that my screen shot had made first place. Congratulations to the other winners. All the entries were first class, must have been hard for the judges to decide. Many thanks everybody. Julian

I'm learning the Q-400, spent a lot of time "parked" But finally found most of the correct procedures ... amazing aircraft, really enjoying it. The "12" for taxi speed is some serious detail, but I think it taxi's a little slow. Entered all my FMC data, and passengers and luggage, Vr - 124, V2 -127 ... dead spot on. Still so much to learn ... between this and the 777, I'm in manual heaven. Some screenshots in 2560 x 1600 (GSX, REX, FSGRW, FSDT KIAD, MSE 2.0) - in this scenario I was able to run 2048 textures and LOD = 9.5 (but it was close to VAS limit given time of day), probably drop that back to LOD 8.5. http://robainscough.com/images/66ee99b561812f637e…
