The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Happened to me twice in the last week, with two different aircraft. My nose gear would not come down. I tried my best to hold the nose off as much as possible, but forgot to shut off the engine to keep the damage to a min. Good thing for me, that's not modeled. Rob

Freeware Wadi Rum photo scenery (available here at avsim) FTX Global Ultimate With the recent death of Omar Sharif I was reminded that there was a great movie that I hadn’t watched in ages: “Lawrence of Arabia”. So I watched it again and enjoyed it, the actors, the scenery and the fantastic music by Maurice Jarre. Here is a flight in a somewhat period airplane along a similar route that the soldiers under Lawrence have taken on their way to Aqaba across parts of the desert of the Wadi Rum. It was a wonderful flight in a Heinkel He-51. It’s a freeware plane that I have enhanced a bit and ported over to P3D 2.5 from FS9 We start from an unmarked sand strip in t…

Just a series of screenshots showcasing my sky textures that I have been working on and off for the past few weeks, meticulously editing the .bmp files to portray the most realistic skies for a more immersive and realistic FSX experience. I have finally reached a point where I am happy with the textures and will post more screenshots in the next few days. I am using Active Sky Next for weather generation, ORBX Global, Vector and Open LC Europe, as well as Aerosoft's German Landmarks and a combination of ORBX's and Aerosoft's Night Environment Germany for the night lighting. Importantly, I am using Mogwaisoft Shade and also Reshade (instead of ENB) for bloom and c…

Showing off my custom made sky textures which I've worked hard on to reproduce the most realistic skies. It is important to note that this screenshot has not been edited in any way after the capture. I use custom tweaked Mogwaisoft Shade and also Reshade (instead of ENB) for bloom and colour/brightness adjustments which really enhance the overall visual depiction and complementing the sky textures, are essential for the realism.
