The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. The following are shots from my FSX setup. Resolution has been lost somewhat sadly in the sceenshots... I am an internal member and beta tester at AIG (Alpha India Group) and FAIB (A32X Series, 737 Series, 747 in development). What you see here is a professional carefully built AI setup with material from AIG and its associated painters work. I use ORBX FTX England, Simwings Heathrow 2014 Xtended (ADE tweaked to my liking), REX Direct and ORBX BOB. This entire AI setup is self built with the latest flightplans and liveries. I do not use any AI programs like WOAI or Ultimate Traffic. I do not endorse Ice Traffic.

Only in flight sim can you fly a PAN AM 737MAX across the Australian outback, haha. FTX Trees is a subtle but noticeable difference.

I cant recommend this product enough its stunning in P3D - performance is butter smooth inside and out amazing for an aircraft of this complexity - one of the best models ever created for flightsim - weather architect in use also - have no idea why but it has made my factory weather themes much better - thanks for looking - very very happy with this Flight1 bird

This is to try an equivalent to Michaels (Mik75) Mountain flying series of screenshots. Although probably not exactly the same route and time, it's in the same area, the Sion area in Switzerland/Valais Canton. Yes, FS9 is old (but only slightly older than FSX) and inferior to the newest simulators regarding graphics/resolution, but still a nice looking and reliable sim. Regards, Harald

  14. Hello, I am currently working on developing a scenery for Lanzarote (ICAO = GCRR) Airport in the Canary Islands. The scenery will feature 12cm aerial imagery and will contain a full array of custom vehicles, buildings and objects to bring the maximum amount of realism to the airport. Here are a few screenshots, and i will post more in the near future:

  20. Vectored off Indianapolis Intl (KIND) runway 05L toward VHP, the first waypoint on my route. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway in view after my turn to the northwest. The large Eagle Creek reservoir is ahead in the distance. There is a nice GA airport (KEYE) adjacent to the reservoir on its east side. You may be able to make it out at about 11 o'clock off the nose of my C90T. After passing over IMS, the city of Indianapolis can be seen in the background. (Megascenery Ultra-Res City scenery). You can see the White River stretching from north to south, and Fall Creek branching off of the White River toward the northeast. Today's route is via Champaign, t…

  23. These shots are from taxi-from the gate, to 7L, and then lift-off, and climb to cruise towards KSFO. It was a remarkable virtual experience, as I heard ATC give clearence to my virtual captain and co-pilot. It really felt like I was in both my favorite seats (in R.L.). Ortho-L.A. is a killer task to render, due to the complexity of it (the airport, as well as the scenery surrounding it), and yet, even with OBJECTS set to EXTREME, or whatever the highest maxium setting is called...can't remember...I still could pull FPS rates that produced smooth animation in XPX.40b5. What a hoot...and I hope you enjoy also being a passenger, on our way to KSFO! …
