The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

ANZ2 / NZ2 in Pictures Our aircraft, ZK-OKR, had already flown in from Auckland, arriving an hour prior to our boarding of the aircraft at around 2045z (1245L). The inbound crew had maxed their hours, and were to be spending the night in Los Angeles. Upon our entry into the flight deck, I started off by reviewing the OFP sent to us by the dispatchers in Auckland. Our cruising altitude was to be FL310, though we would be up to FL350 by the time we reached the Atlantic. The route was to be something of a straight shot from Los Angeles. After departing via the LOOP7 departure, our flight plan took us northeast to Las Vegas, before altering heading east, flying …

Before the on-slot of Orbx-FTX SCA, I decided on a few of my own photo-screens from MSE2 SoCal. The big question...is HLJ going Orbx? This short flight from Brackett Field (La Verne, CA) to Whiteman Airport (Pacoima, CA) along Interstate 210 and flying across the 57, 605 & the 2 Freeways I was misaligned on approch to Whiteman but landed correctly...Darryl

Just thought I'd share some pics of me flying around! What a joy it is to do some laid-back GA flying with some spectacular views. Taking a break from flying commercial tubeliners.

  20. I have amalgamated XPScenery Golden Gate/South Bay, with Mr. X's fabulous KSFO and area scenery. They are now both playing nice in the San Fran Bay sandbox...and with the following also in play: SkyMaxxPro 3.0 SoundMaxx 1.0 About 10 supportive library's, (who knows what visual element(s) are/is being loaded in from the each of them, lol) But with all of it....in this outside view of the L1011 at taxi to the active this morning...well folks, (the airport sounds...people, plane engines, jet blast, fly overs, plane movement around me,) well folks..it really, this morning, doesn't get any more 'real' than what's happening on the screen in XPX.42, and its fabulou…

In the tenth shot, I latched onto the Knight transport, and kept up with him, through highway take offs...rural...and on to his/her/her/his delivery... What a hoot. I don't think he/she thought so...anyway...pic number 10.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------
