The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Here's an image from my flight this evening over the countryside near Damascus, Syria. The FS world is frozen in 2006, which was a much, much happier time in Syria. Here's to a better tomorrow for the whole Middle East.

Just a typical day and route at Mirage Executive Charters VA. Please pay us a visit if your interested in a VA that flies everything from C185's to 737NG's and has hundreds of routes throughout all of Orbx's North American regions http://www.miragechartersva.com/ A video of a the landing Active Sky Next was giving me quite a workout. Though it doesn't look that bad in the video I was doing my best to get it on the ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94uUBsbPqaY

"Random" means I can't remember the story behind them anymore! Anyway I thinned down about 500 shots to just these 20 and emptied out the v-key folder. There's even a shot of the default FSX Lear 45! All shots are from P3D v3 except the last which is from FSX-MS. Click on any screenshot to see them all full sized in an external gallery arrangement, hope you like 'em and thanks for looking! Jim

Sim settings for use with my GTX680 2GB card. Card reports only 51 MB in reserve, with close to 6GB free system memory out of a max pool of 12 GB's. Smooth animation, even with the load asked for of the 2 GB card... Post Edit: I only drop the sim Resolution setting from my normal Very High, to Normal, or High, depending...for use only with Rotate MD-80. For all other planes and operations, I resort back to Very High for anything else. This way, I find you can use this high-demand VRAM model with good results on a 2GB 'older' card. No stutter...and still looks good, with good control of aircraft. So, a Win/Win compromise. --------------------------------…

Overcast conditions across much of the flight(thank you real world weather, sometimes I dislike the real world aha) prohibited some shots, so these aren't the best, but I hope you enjoy. FYI this is with my latest purchases FTX GLOBAL, FTX Open Landclass Canada and Ultimate Terrain X Canada. They look great working together.
