The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

One thing Ive seen in default Xplane that no other sim does (or does as well maybe) is to make curved and undulating cloud decks like occur in real life. the second shot is the best example of that in this set. Its a very cool effect. XP does cloud decks really well.

Just a few pics of Dino's F35 in v4. I'll definitely have to disable the 3d trees... my fps are tanked compared to v3 (however my settings overall are higher so I'll have to adjust them). Cruising the north shore on Lake Superior St Louis River

Well I flew the Lear back to Redding, drove to Benton (O85), decided to take the RV7 out for a pattern lap, then headed out to Eureka (Murray KEKA). Everything was lovely until I noticed a deck of clouds as I approached EKA. Between the clouds and the terrain, I had to descend, instead of risk getting stuck on top over the Pacific Ocean. The weather wasn't as bad as I thought though and the landing at EKA was uneventful. Enjoy Until the next adventure...

There was a sale on today at the org so I picked myself up the Panthera, and what an amazing plane it is. I've never seen such well-made avionics, and it performs and looks great in XP11, and the touch screen interfaces actually work Here are some shots from a 200NM flight I did from EPZG to EPRZ which was no problem for this speedy plane. Weather (provided by xEnviro) was great all the way, the scenery contains custom orthos, Poland Pro and DD Polish airports. Screenshots don't really do it justice, the lighting in the sim and the plane's PBR textures are fantastic

maybe you guys are right about it being 'too bright'. if you set ambient light to black in the sky texture, it looks better. I am using yellow sunshine though.

Chock posted a video of a trip in a glider at Camphill using the Silent Wings sim. FWIW here's what the area looks like in FSX:SE with VFR real photoreal scenery as a comparison. There is a freeware airfield available, but it requires stuff from other scenery libraries, so all I did was type in the coordinates and fly.
