Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I normally run with HIGH, but just Max'ed it to see how much more towns and cities show up...and their scope. Well...If you can run it...much more immersive, and accurate. I'm now going to play around with between 2x and 4x for best FPS management, but I think MAX is here to stay...

My current distraction, AFS2, is looking pretty good. How good? I wondered, so I put it up against my beloved FS2004 at LOWI. On the one hand, a state of the art 64 bit sim, on the other, a bit of software just about older than some flightsimmers. Then on the other hand, a sim at the beginning of its development, vs a truly mature sim built up over many years of tweaking. Mmm... in each case the AFS2 pic is on top.

This was from the other day, a nice VFR flight in the Cheyenne down to Red Wing, MN... Along the way you can see the lovely scenic bluffs from the Mississippi River. Initially I departed KMSP eastbound, towards St Paul (capital of MN), and then followed the river SE. Eventually it meets up with the Minnesota River and farther down (near Red Wing KRGK), the river expands into a large Lake, Lake Pepin. From there, well, it goes all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico of course in New Orleans. Anyway, this is P3D v4 with pretty much stock textures. Leaving Minneapolis behind St Paul KSTP airport below South St Paul (non towered) KSGS …

Just took to flight in my first Ortho4XP Western Europe tile...at Lyon, France. Now I know what everybody means, when they say the OSM-driven content is way better in Europe, than in North America...wow! Generated at zl17/19/2. Can't wait to fly over Paris! Now I understand why the tiles took three times longer to create, than those in North America at the same generation definitions...so much more detailed content, in the each of them! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
