The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

The orange part never lasted long and soon faded out. I was lucky to have flown in this bird quite a few times. This Azurpoly version is pretty much spot on. Haven't been simming or posting for a while, but getting back to it slowly now. Had my frustrations with MSFS after various updates and still have issues with the quality of the PG and streaming on occasion, but when it's working . . . oh boy! So nothing special here, some cliched shots over NY, but trust me, if you take a break from it for a few weeks when you come back and see it with fresh eyes (and no cataracts, in my case <grin>) you'll remember just what a game changer it has been. Enjoy! all 4k, best viewed maxed out. the view from the Empire State viewing platform

This flight takes us from CYSJ, St John Airport Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, to CYAW, Halifax/Shearwater, Nova Scotia. However, the landing portion was atrocious with horrific graphics and a 1 FPS slideshow.

Horrific melted buildings and runway, very bad slideshow. This has been the absolute worst performance out of all the entire coastline flights. CYSJ, St John Airport Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, to CYAW, Halifax/Shearwater, Nova Scotia.

The “Passat” is an old FSX ship that I converted to MSFS. The real Passat is a German four-masted steel barque and one of the Flying P-Liners, the famous sailing ships of the German shipping company F. Laeisz. Launched in 1911, she is one of the last surviving windjammers and anchors, well preserved, in Travemünde, a city in Northern Germany. (The name "Passat" is German for trade wind). Time to drop the sails, so we can be towed into the small harbor (there are two models of the ship, one with sails and one without) Over 100 years ago, the Passat was considered a large ship. As we can s…

Presenting very very very important Royal mission flight from EGSS London Stansted Airport located near Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, England 42 miles northeast of center of London to EGJJ Jersey Airport located 4.6 miles west northwest of Saint Helier in island of Jersey which is part of Channel Islands. This is what Wikipedia has to say about Mt. Erebus: it is the second-highest volcano in Antarctica (after Mount Sidley), the highest active volcano in Antarctica, and the southernmost active volcano on Earth. With a summit elevation of 3,794 metres (12,448 ft), it is located in the Ross Dependency on Ross Island, which is also home to three inactive volcanoes: Mount Terror, Mount Bird, and Mount Terra Nova. The volcano has been active since about 1.3 million years ago and has a long-lived lava lake in its inner summit crater that has been present since at least the early 1970s. The volcano was the site of the Air New Zealand Flight 901 accident, which occurred i…
