VA World!

Forum for the Virtual Airlines section of the AVSIM website. General discussions related to Virtual Airlines.

We're very pleased to announce the latest world class virtual airline based on Thai Airways International. We're really happy with the way it has turned out and I expect this VA to do quite well. Thai serves more Asian destinations than any other airline in the world. Ever wanted to fly to Kathmandu, Vientiane, Bandar Seri Begawan or Danang? Not to mention all the domestic routes including Phuket & Chiang Mai. Thai has a nice fleet to boot! Very nice website with fully automated features using .ASP technology. Take a look: http://Thai.virtualATP.org Have fun, Eric Thorntonhttp://www.cpavirtual.org/Thai/images/Thaibanner2.jpghttp://Thai.virtualatp.org

If everything keeps going as planned. Cape Air VA will become public earlier than expected. Set for Nov 1st to be up and running we might start taking pilot and staff applications before the end of August. For those who don't know about Cape Air VA, your about to see a revolution in the Virtual Airlines. Cape Air VA will introduce MANY new aspects to the VA industry. All awhile being simple and fun. Folks strap your seatbelts because its going to be a great ride.Kilstorm

Hi,I would just like some help as I am having trouble painting an ATR 72. It is an aircraft to replace one of our old aircraft ion MVA. I have configured all the files and completed the textures, but when its on the runway (for the first time in my whole VA / Painting career) the main fuselage disappears and all that is left is the wings, tail, cockpit and nose. It's not a bitmap problem as they are all set the same, can someone help me figure out the problem?

I am writing in reply to the post of the "CEO of MVA/BTA".I would like to state that I am not a thief and have not had any associations with "BTA".Posting lies and pure nonsense on a public forum is not appropriate.I would ask the person who posted the article contact my solicitor at the following address:Andrews Associates10 Shepherds HillOxford- OX4 7YD.In my eyes, this is clear slander and I want to rid my name of this matter. Many thanksB HomsyBritish Mediterranean Airways Virtual

Since the first day of Livewire Airlines pilots have asked for something to spend the money on they earned flying so, our stock market was born. Were the pilots satisfied? No. So we built a Livewire lottery. Did that help? Not really. We built a poker table. That worked....for about a month....then they wanted blackjack....so, we gave them blackjack. It still wasn't enough. Our financial system was born and first to be installed was our aircraft share system where pilots can invest in our aircraft and share in the revenue earned. That finally satisifed the pilots for a good 6 months. Then once again, they wanted more. So, then we gave them a betting room. Let them create …

In the coming months I will start to lay the foundation for a new kind of Virtual Airline. I have chosen to base it on the small New England based airline Cape Air. This airline also services Florida and the Caribbean. One of the main reasons for choosing this airline is because I am also an employee for Cape Air. I stated earlier that this is a new kind of VA and it will be. There are two main features that I will be working on that will allow this VA to be unique. One will be support from the actual airline itself. The other will be the use of FSMaintenance. As far as the involvement of the real Cape Air, well, that will be announced once I have a presentation to provid…

If you are reading this post then you will know that I have wanted to close BTA and work purly on MVA for a long time. As BTA came to its closure, a member name Bill Homsy was going to be given the job of new CEO. When i told him that he couldnt become the one, he got angry and actually 'stole' bta. He is redesigning the site and has got a new address for it 'www.bluetrxsairlines.tk' . I ask you all now, as BTA dies, please do not use this site. It is not of my making and i do not own it. I shall be sending this out to every single place i can. He will re-paint our aircraft but use the aircraft. However, he doesnt realise that these aircraft are not the edited version and…
