some simple questions i have:1. is there any VA that uses the C421 or for that matter other fine payware a/c (like the Cheyenne, etc.)?2. If not to #1, im thinking and have been toying with the idea of opening an air charter/taxi VA - that would use commercial payware a/c like the above and more GA style a/c - do you all think there would be an interest?3. somewhat o/t , but the C421 seats 6 pax with 2 crew, is it lawful to have a passenger up front (in the copilots seat?) even though no copilot is needed for the flight? in other words are you allowed to have a pax when you don't have a copilot riding along??thanksBrian Sciao!Brian S

We're half-way into our second year of development and I must say that things couldn't be better.Nearly 900 of our 8500 members are registered pilots, 400 of them active. Since our opening day over 35000 PIREPs have been filed and our ever growing flight list is up to 1760 flights, each with an adventure file, FS Navigator file, flight plan, situation file, custom weather, aircraft and more. Full support for FS2000 and FS2002; hubs all over the world; multi-player servers; private Live ATC servers; online races with prizes given away (like many popular LAGO products); a casino with a betting room, poker, blackjack and weekly lottery, weekly newsletter, stock market, inves…

If you are a VA enthusiast like myself you definitely HAVE to check this one out: http://www.ar-source.com I had never heard of it until recently. I have spent considerable time exploring this site and... it rocks! It actually emulates many airlines all over the world. As a member you aren't restricted to a single airline. Yet, it does strive for realism of routes and schedules which is important to most VA pilots. Two big thumbs up from me!John-PaulToronto

Hi, I've opened A VASM clone due to the absence of the VASM for a few months.Since I've heard comments from VASM staff that the server is just down, I'm not however binning my stockmarket, (I personally don't think the VASM will reopen anyway, in the same form)This stockmarket is more realistic and is a bit better in some ways:- Realistic approval period on stock buys- Combats abuse by manual administration- Will allow traders to select "brokers", so traders pay fees on buys and sells. It is located at http://snow.prohosting.com/simcorp and will soon offer a VA directory and Consulting.

We provide the most realistic Flight Operations Environment you will find in a VA. Anywhere. Period. Why fly AWVA?Our pilots receive their assignments in the same way airline pilots get theirs: Our VP of Operations is a professional dispatcher. The flight releases you receive mirror those America West pilots are handed as they prepare for their flights. Flight lines which our pilots select for their assignments represent those flown by America West aircraft. All AWVA operations are created to be compliant with FAR Part 121, the Federal rules that govern commercial carriers in the U.S.AWVA : Less Virtual, More AirlineAWVA was founded in 1999 to provide Virtual Pilots with …

Hi folks, the developers of the Payware "eurowings Professionell", which is likely to be the most outstanding payware having the ATR42 300/500, ATR72 200/212, BAe146/200 and the Airbus A319/112 (The fleet of the realworld European Carrier "Eurowings" consist exactly of these aircraft), are offering a unike service. Since those professionell developers, who are actually flightsim enthusiasts in the first place, are making this add-on mainly for the members of the huge "eurowings Virtual Airline" and those enthusiastic about "eurowings" you can still drop them a line and they will try to include the liveries of your VA for the above mentioned aircraft in this boxed premium p…

Hello all,I've been receiving several e-mails recently about Pacific Northwest Air Cargo and I have decided to re-commence operation of the VA after finals exams or before, depending on how much interest there is. If you are interested in becoming a member of the PN team, there is a limited number of pilot spaces and so please send all applications to me by e-mail. Hey allI just wanted to let you all know that my VA is now up for sale.I tried to keep the airline as an all FS version VA, which included FS98/2000/2002 aircraft...This seemed to be fairly popular with a lot of people and the airline has over 30 pilots, most of which have not flown at all since joining. As I do not have the time (exams and college work) I am offering my VA to anyone that can make the VA much more popular and enclined to keep pilots flying. In addition, I would like the people who are considering buying my VA to keep the promise that you will keep the name "Aer Lingus". You may change the fleet if you like, but I would like to sell the airline to someone w…
